MAASIM YOUTH DEVELOPMENT WORKERS GATHER FOR AN INSPIRING KAMUSTAHAN AT KABLACAN INTEGRATED SCHOOL
YDWs from Maasim, Sarangani Province came together at Kablacan Integrated School for a meaningful Kamustahan Session led by Sir Ronelo A. Saulong, RSW. It was a moment to pause, look back, and reconnect with why we serve under the DSWD’s Tara Basa Tutoring Program.
During the session, we shared real stories from the field—our challenges in connecting with parents, the adjustments we made, and the lessons we learned as facilitators. We opened up about the struggles, growth, and small wins that have shaped our journey.
Sir Ronelo’s guidance and encouragement reminded us that our work isn’t just about running sessions. It’s about listening with empathy, understanding the families we serve, and creating a genuine impact in their lives.
More than just a check-in, the activity became a space for learning, mentorship, and renewed purpose for all of us.
