๐ฟ Restoring the Greens: DNHS Joins the Division-Wide Mangrove Revolution ๐ฟ
๐
March 8, 2025 marked a significant day for the Dadiangas North High School (DNHS) YES-O club and the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) as they united with other schools under the city's division to make a positive impact on the environment. ๐โจ
The orientation session provided valuable insights into mangroves, their species, purposes, and environmental impact. Participants learned about their crucial role in coastal protection, habitat creation, and ocean sustainability. ๐๐ฑ
The mangrove planting activity was an unforgettable experience! By planting mangroves, they contributed to a greener and more sustainable environment, helping restore and maintain the planetโs health. ๐ฑ๐ They also conducted a cleanup drive ๐งน and a mangrove bagging activity, preparing seedlings for future replanting.
Through this experience, the DNHS team gained valuable knowledge and insights into environmental restoration. Their participation in the division-wide Mangrove Revolution marked a significant step towards creating a greener, more sustainable, and resilient Earth. ๐
