Humanity’s Sorcerers

On March 6, 2026, during the Research Congress 2026, our class proudly participated as several research groups were given the opportunity to present their studies before a panel of evaluators.

One of the studies presented was entitled “Digital Activism Participation and Offline Civic Engagement of Senior High School Students at Dadiangas North High School.” After successfully defending the paper, the research team was honored with the following recognitions:

The presentation explored the relationship between students’ participation in digital activism and their involvement in offline civic engagement. Through careful data gathering, statistical analysis, and continuous revisions, the team was able to produce a study that met the standards of the panelists and evaluators during the congress.

This achievement would not have been possible without the guidance of Ma’am Bless, whose mentorship helped shape the research from its early stages to the final defense. Her dedication to ensuring the quality, accuracy, and credibility of the study played a crucial role in the team’s success.

The team would also like to express sincere gratitude to Ma’am Jinerose Catubig, who greatly helped during the data gathering process and supported the team in organizing survey responses through Google Forms. She also assisted with the printing of the many documents required throughout the research process. Her encouragement and willingness to help made a meaningful difference during the journey.

We also extend our appreciation to the panelists, validators, teachers, and students who supported the research by sharing their time, feedback, and participation.

Most importantly, this recognition is shared with 12 J.K. Rowling, whose encouragement and support gave the team the confidence to represent the class in the Research Congress. This achievement reflects not only the effort of the researchers but also the collective spirit of the class that stood behind them throughout the journey.

Our DIASS class successfully held a symposium on “Youth Empowerment and Nation-Building” with the inspiring guest speaker, Ms. Ariane Santander Catubig. The event was filled with insights that reminded us of the importance of leadership, purpose, and unity among today’s youth. Ms. Catubig shared her valuable experiences and words of wisdom that motivated everyone to take an active role in shaping a better future for our community and our country.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Ma’am Kristine Bretaña for her continuous support and guidance throughout the preparation of this event. Special thanks to all the hardworking committees — from the Food, Procurement, and Crowd & Order Committees, to our amazing emcees — for making this symposium smooth, engaging, and truly meaningful.

Team Lidagat: Riding the Waves, Making Our Mark! 🌊

With every leap, pull, and stride—we brought the fight. We charged through the sack race, landing a hard-earned 2nd place, and pulled with all our strength to secure another 2nd in tug of war. The human hamster wheel spun us to 3rd, but when it came to speed and skill, we ruled the tides—1st place in both patintero and sipa, proving that no wave is too strong to ride.

Every game was a battle, but our spirit never wavered. The seas are always changing, but no matter how fierce the currents, we’ll rise with the tides—stronger, bolder, and unstoppable.🎗🌊💙
