Teenage parenthood presents significant challenges and often disrupts the educational and personal development of young individuals, something society should actively discourage through comprehensive support and education. However, while discouraging this trend, our response must be rooted in compassion and aimed at providing resources and care for both the young parents and their children, ensuring their well-being and future opportunities. It is crucial to address the systemic issues contributing to teenage pregnancies without inflicting further hardship or judgment on those already in this difficult situation.

Every year, more and more young people are affected. Not because they were careless, but because no one told them the truth. No one started the conversation. So let’s be the generation that does.

𝗛𝗜𝗩 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. Protection is simple. Condoms aren’t just about avoiding risks — they’re about respecting yourself and your partner. Getting tested isn’t something to be ashamed of. It’s one of the most responsible and courageous things you can do.

And if you test positive? It’s not the end. HIV is a medical condition, not a life sentence. With the right treatment, people living with HIV can live long, full, and meaningful lives.

But stigma still silences too many. Shame still holds people back from getting tested or reaching out for help. That needs to change — and it starts with us.
