NASA Elementary School successfully conducted its 1st SPTA General Assembly and Induction of Officers on August 7, 2026, at 8:00 AM at the NASA Elementary School Covered Court, bringing together school leaders, teachers, parents, officers, and community stakeholders in a meaningful celebration of partnership and shared responsibility. The program formally opened with the Singing of the National Anthem, Opening Prayer, DepEd Region XII Hymn, and GenSan March, followed by the Roll Call led by Jaybee G. Catubay, SPTA Secretary, and the Welcome Message from Mr. Mallon Ryant B. Cortez, MT-I, Assistant School Head Designate.
The assembly highlighted the Presentation of the Newly Elected SPTA, GrPTA, and HRPTA Officers, followed by their formal Induction of Officers. Councilor Richard โRicโ Atendido represented Hon. Lorelie Geronimo Pacquiao, City Mayor, and delivered the Mayorโs message on her behalf during the gathering. He also served as the Inducting Officer for the newly elected SPTA officers. The occasion further marked the Turn-Over of Responsibilities from Mrs. Jenny Fe D. Lim, Outgoing SPTA President, to Mr. Rene F. Catigan, Jr., Newly Inducted SPTA President, symbolizing the continuity of leadership and commitment to service. The outgoing SPTA officers were likewise recognized through the Awarding of Certificates, presented by Maโam Jessica T. Verallo, Ed.D., Principal IV, in appreciation of their dedication and valuable contributions.
The gathering was further enriched by the message of Kagawad Hon. Ryde Petaca of BLGU Fatima and the inspirational message of Maโam Jessica T. Verallo, Ed.D., Principal IV, emphasizing the importance of strong collaboration among the school, families, and community in supporting every learner. This was followed by the Presentation of the SPTA Proposed Plans by Mr. Rene F. Catigan, Jr., outlining the organization's priorities and initiatives for the school community. The participants also enjoyed the Raffle Draw, made possible through the support of the SPTA officers and sponsors, followed by the Acknowledgement of Norsierra G. Ali, SPTA Vice President, for her support and participation in the activity.
The formal gathering concluded with the Closing Prayer led by Rocelyn B. Cafรฉ, Teacher I, followed by the much-anticipated Zumba and Foam Party, facilitated by Junaiden T. Cadil, Master of Ceremony. More than an induction ceremony, the event served as a celebration of new leadership, renewed commitment, and strengthened school-community partnership. With the collective efforts of the school, parents, teachers, SPTA officers, and community partners, NASA Elementary School continues to uphold the spirit of Bayanihan and its commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for the welfare, development, and success of every learner.
