In solidarity with the global celebration of Earth Hour 2026, the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSES) of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, Inc. spearheaded an initiative to promote environmental awareness and collective action within the academic community.

A signature campaign and candle lighting ceremony were held on March 27, 2026, fostering unity and inspiring meaningful participation across the campus.

The activity highlighted the importance of simple yet impactful actions in protecting our environment. With the active involvement of the Unified Student Assistants Club and the support of the school community, the initiative became a powerful reminder that change begins with collective effort.

The City Environment and Natural Resources Office (City ENRO) of General Santos City conducted an Environmental Education Campaign for the students of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, Inc. – College Department on March 6, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Theater Room of RMMC, General Santos City.

The activity aimed to strengthen environmental awareness among the youth and emphasize the vital role they play in protecting and conserving our natural resources through responsible and sustainable practices. The session became more meaningful as RMMC students actively engaged in the discussion—raising thoughtful questions and sharing their insights with the speakers. Officials and members of the Unified Student Assistants Club also joined the activity, showing their support and commitment to environmental advocacy.

City ENRO extends its sincere appreciation to the faculty members, students, and the Unified Student Assistants Club of RMMC for their enthusiastic participation and support in advancing environmental stewardship. The Unified Student Assistants Club successfully conducted its General Assembly and Awarding of Certificates on January 31, 2026, at RMMC Main Campus – ERM Theater. The assembly served as a meaningful gathering centered on unity, reflection, and inspiration, strengthening the bond among student assistants as one organization.

The event proudly recognized our Academic Awardees and Perfect Attendance Awardees, whose dedication, discipline, and perseverance continue to bring pride and inspiration to the organization. In the same spirit, we warmly welcomed our New Student Assistants—the next generation of committed, service-driven individuals ready to make a positive difference in the RMMC community.

We extend our deepest appreciation to our USAC Adviser, Sir Steven T. Lumang, RPm, and our USAC Consultant and Head of the Maintenance Department, Sir Joselito B. Cuevas, for their unwavering support, guidance, and continued commitment to the growth of the organization.
