Taciturn /'tasวtern/ adjective.

Someone who is taciturn is reserved, not loud and talkative. The word itself refers to the trait of reticence, of seeming aloof and uncommunicative. A taciturn person might be snobby, naturally quiet, or just shy.

Example: Maria was usually taciturn at school, choosing to listen rather than join loud conversations.

What situations make you feel taciturn? Comment below!

A vicarious feeling is experienced by watching, listening to, or reading about other people doing something, rather than by doing it yourself. - Collins Dictionary

With every story you've read in books or movies you've watched, how many times have you been transported to another's shoes, feeling the pangs of their joy, the sting of their sorrow? That profound sensation is called vicarious โ€” a second-hand or indirect experience from someone else's journey rather than your own.

example: Gav felt vicarious embarrassment after seeing his friend dance awkwardly in a public space.
