As part of the General Santos City National High School's commitment to the well-being of its learners, Grade 11 teachers continued the conduct of the Psychological First Aid (PFA) sessions. Through meaningful conversations, reflective activities, and emotional support, learners were provided a safe space to express their thoughts, fears, and experiences following the recent 7.8 magnitude earthquake.

Our dedicated Grade 11 teachers of General Santos City National High School took a significant step in supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of our learners through the successful conduct of Batch 1 of the Psychological First Aid (PFA) session following the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that affected General Santos City.

Recognizing that recovery goes beyond rebuilding structures, the session provided a safe and supportive space where learners were encouraged to express their fears, anxieties, and experiences following the earthquake.

This initiative highlighted the school's commitment to ensuring that every learner feels heard, supported, and empowered as they gradually regain a sense of safety, normalcy, and resilience. Because when the school cares for the hearts and minds of learners, healing begins, hope is restored, and learning continues.

Today 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 21 2026, we celebrate the strength, sacrifices, and unconditional love of every fathers, grandfathers, guardians, and father figures who have always been our 𝙆𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙧𝙢𝙤𝙧, through life's challenges and uncertainties, they stand strong protecting, guiding, and supporting us with unwavering love and courage.✨💜

Behind every sacrifice is a heart that puts family first, and behind every lesson is a desire to see us grow into the best versions of ourselves. Their 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝 gives us comfort, their 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙙𝙤𝙢 gives us direction, and their 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 gives us the confidence to keep moving forward.

BASAHIN | Alternative Learning Modality ang ipatutupad sa pagbabalik-eskwela. Layunin nitong matiyak na hindi mahihinto ang pag-aaral ng mga bata habang isinasaalang-alang ang kapakanan ng mga estudyante, magulang, at g**o.

Sa ilalim ng Executive Order No. 38, Series of 2026, inalis na ng Local Government Unit ng General Santos City ang suspensyon ng mga klase sa lahat ng antas—pampubliko man o pribado—simula Hunyo 18, 2026.

Ang mga school heads ang magpapasya kung anong learning modality ang pinakaangkop at pinakaligtas para sa kanilang paaralan—modular, online, blended, o iba pang naaangkop na pamamaraan—alinsunod sa mga umiiral na alituntunin ng DepEd.

Bukod dito, ang unang tatlong (3) araw ng klase ay ilalaan sa Psychosocial First Aid (PFA) at iba pang recovery activities upang matulungan ang mga mag-aaral at kawani na unti-unting makabangon mula sa epekto ng lindol.

Mangyaring sundin ang mga opisyal na abiso mula sa inyong paaralan hinggil sa ipatutupad na learning modality.

📢 ADVISORY

In light of the recent earthquake and its possible effects on the safety and well-being of our learners, teachers, and personnel, the resumption of classes and work in all DepEd offices is hereby postponed until further notice, pending the issuance of an official order from the Local Government Unit of General Santos City.

The safety of our school community remains our utmost priority. We kindly ask everyone to stay alert and await official advisories and announcements regarding the resumption of classes and office operations.
