Please arrive on time, observe proper grooming, wear your navy blue shirt properly, and prepare your best ID-worthy pose. If you still do not have one, we can lend you a shirt for the pictorial.

Rodz Mark, to be exact. And hey, this Mark may be loud on his own, but I believe Rodz combined with Mark is a Hz not to be reckoned with.

Organized by the Pambansang Samahan ng Inhenyero Mekanikal Student Unit – Davao Chapter (PSIM–Davao SU), the Mechanical Engineering Student Conference returns for its third year with the theme, “Oculus: Illuminating the Halls of Visionaries.”

The Association of Mechanical Engineering Students (AMES-PSIM) of Mindanao Polytechnic College is pleased to announce the commencement of the bidding process for the production of the Siglakas Shirt and Departmental Uniform Shirt for Academic Year 2026–2027.

We encourage qualified suppliers and prospective bidders to participate by submitting their proposals for the production of the official AMES shirts. Through this initiative, AMES aims to maintain a fair, transparent, and competitive procurement process while securing high-quality products at the most reasonable cost.

This July 22–24 marks the preliminary examinations of students from Mindanao Polytechnic College, where 1st Year to 4th Year students will be going through a series of examinations in different mathematical and science subjects.

Following the invitation for the upcoming MESCON 2026, the PSIM-MPC Student Unit will start gearing up and preparing the delegates who will represent our institution.

With this, we are calling all aspiring quizzers from different year levels to join the Quiz Mech 2026: Elimination Round, scheduled on July 15, 2026, at 9:00 AM.

Sharpen your pencils, warm up your brains, and prepare for a battle of engineering knowledge!

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀:

𝟐𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
𝟑𝗿𝗱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴:

• Scientific calculator (any model)

This will be a time-pressure quiz battle where questions will cover various engineering topics based on your year-level competencies and syllabus. Each year level will have its own set of questions, so don’t worry, your battles will be fought within your own territory!

We will follow the same criteria announced for MESCON 2026.

The highest scorer from each year level will earn the chance to become a delegate representing our institution. Additionally, one participant from the 3rd year with the next highest total score will be selected as a reserve delegate.

So, gather your knowledge, ibilad na ang calculators early in the morning tomorrow, and get ready to prove that your engineering brain is built differently. Good luck, future quizzers, may the formulas, concepts, and lucky guesses be in your favor!
