Patrolman Mapangal took his oath as part of the PNP Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit at PNP National Headquarters, Camp Rafael Crame, Quezon City.

Patrolman Tumandan took also his oath as part of the PNP Police Regional Office 12 Regular/Attrition Quota at Camp General Paulino T. Santos, Tambler, General Santos City.

These patrolmen have just proven that success is not reserved for the perfect or the privileged, it belongs to those who refuse to give up. We are proud of you! 💙👮‍♂️🫡

Ipinapaalala ng Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) ang napakahalagang tungkulin ng bawat motorista na sumunod sa batas trapiko at magmaneho nang ligtas sa bawat biyahe, lalo na ngayong panahon ng Kapaskuhan kung saan mas dumarami ang mga sasakyan, biyahe, at aktibidad sa kalsada.

RA 10054 – MOTORCYCLE HELMET ACT OF 2009
Ang helmet ang pangunahing proteksyon laban sa malubhang pinsala at aksidente. Ang pagsunod sa batas na ito ay mahalaga upang mapangalagaan ang inyong buhay at matiyak ang ligtas na pag-uwi ninyo at ng inyong pamilya.

Paalaala sa Ligtas na Pagsuot ng Helmet:

• Palaging magsuot ng helmet ang motorista at ang angkas/backride habang nagmamaneho.
• Tiyaking ang helmet ay may PS Mark o ICC Sticker (DTI-approved) bilang patunay ng kalidad at kaligtasan.
• Siguraduhing tama ang sukat ng helmet at maayos na nakakabit o nakakunci ang chin strap bago umandar.

Paalala ngayong Kapaskuhan:

• Iwasan ang pagmamaneho kung kayo ay nakainom ng alak. Ang pag-inom at pagmamaneho ay isang mapanganib na kombinasyon na maaaring magdulot ng aksidente at ikapahamak ng buhay.

• Kung may inuman, magtalaga ng sober driver, gumamit ng pampublikong sasakyan, o magpahinga muna bago bumiyahe.

Mas masaya ang Kapaskuhan kung ligtas ang lahat at kumpleto ang pamilya.

Ang sinumang mahuhuling lumalabag sa RA 10054 at iba pang batas trapiko ay papatawan ng kaukulang multa at parusa alinsunod sa umiiral na mga alituntunin.

You’re not here to babysit emotions.

You’re here to raise people higher — even if that means making them uncomfortable.

Because growth is uncomfortable.

And if you’re the kind of leader who avoids discomfort to preserve likability…you’ll shrink the people you’re supposed to build.

So no — you don’t need to be cold or harsh.

But you need to be courageous.

Courageous enough to hold the line.

Courageous enough to be disliked — for the right reasons.

Because one day, the very people who were once frustrated with your standards…will thank you for not lowering them.

Bilang bahagi ng TEU Ligtas Paskuhan Campaign, ang Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) ay nagpapaalala sa lahat ng motorista na mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang pagmamaneho habang lasing o nasa impluwensya ng ipinagbabawal na gamot, alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 10586.

Ang sinumang lalabag sa batas na ito ay papatawan ng kaukulang parusa:

🚫 Para sa Non-Professional Driver:
• Multa: ₱20,000 hanggang ₱80,000
• Suspensyon ng lisensya ng hanggang 3 buwan

🚫 Para sa Professional Driver:
• Multa: ₱50,000 hanggang ₱100,000
• Permanenteng kanselasyon ng lisensya

⚠️ Kung magdulot ng pisikal na pinsala:
• Multa: ₱100,000 hanggang ₱200,000
• Pagkakakulong alinsunod sa Revised Penal Code

⚠️ Kung magdulot ng kamatayan:
• Multa: ₱300,000 hanggang ₱500,000
• Pagkakakulong at posibleng permanenteng kanselasyon ng lisensya

Layunin ng batas na ito na mapanatili ang kaligtasan sa kalsada, lalo na ngayong panahon ng Kapaskuhan, at maiwasan ang mga trahedyang dulot ng iresponsableng pagmamaneho.

Paalala para sa Ligtas at Masayang Paskuhan:
🚫 Huwag magmaneho kung nakainom ng alak.
🚫 Iwasan ang paggamit ng iligal na droga.
✅ Maging disiplinado at responsable sa kalsada.
