Together, Mindanao State University - General Santos and BFP envision a safer, more resilient campus community

On April 21, 2026, the College of Business Administration and Accountancy of MSU–General Santos held a consultative meeting with the General Santos City Fire Office to explore a proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) that will institutionalize fire safety practices across the University.

Representing MSU–GenSan were OIC-Dean Marissa G. Dela Cruz, Asst. Dean Kenneth L. Sanido, and Faculty Asst. Prof. Sheena Mae Dela Serna. From the Fire Department, SF04 Achilles Torres - MSU Alumni (Chief Administrative Officer) and SF03 Romeo Gentapanan (Chief, Community Relations Unit) joined the discussion.
This initiative supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals) by promoting safer learning environments and fostering institutional collaboration.

Earlier today, March 30, 2026 | 7:00 AM, the community gathered for the Flag Raising Ceremony at Centennial Lane - honoring the strength, leadership, and cultural heritage of women, and embodying what it truly means to lead like a Babaylan.

This meaningful event was proudly hosted by the College of Business Administration and Accountancy and the Center for Instructional Materials Development of MSU–Gensan.

As we continue to champion inclusivity and empowerment, we stand united in advancing SDG 5: Gender Equality - because when women rise, everyone thrives. 🌍♀️
