3rd Year Social Work students stand in support of Republic Act No. 11596, a law that prohibits the practice of child marriage and protects the rights and future of every Filipino child.

As future social workers, we advocate for the protection, empowerment, and well-being of children. Ending child marriage is a step toward ensuring that every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and pursue their dreams without being forced into early marriage.

Today, our 3rd Year Social Work students actively participated in a seminar about the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). The discussion highlighted the importance of social protection, responsible parenting, and the role of the program in improving the lives of Filipino families.

This seminar strengthens our understanding as future social workers to better serve communities and advocate for sustainable development and social welfare.

Sa Departamento ng Mangagawang Panlipunan ng Stratford International School, kami ay nakatuon sa pagtataguyod ng kamalayan at suporta sa kalusugan ng isip sa buong taon, lalo na sa panahon ng Buwan ng Pag-iwas sa Pagpapakamatay o Su***de Prevention Month.

Naniniwala kami sa pagsira ng katahimikan at pagbuo ng katatagan sa pamamagitan ng pagsisimula ng mga makabuluhang pag-uusap, pagbibigay ng mga mapagkukunan, at paglikha ng isang ligtas at inklusibong kapaligiran para sa aming mga mag-aaral, magulang, at kawani.

Narito ang aming mga tagapayo sa paaralan at mga propesyonal sa kalusugan ng isip upang mag-alok ng suporta, gabay, at isang nakikinig na tainga. Sama-sama nating likhain ang isang komunidad na nagpapahalaga sa kagalingan ng isip, naghihikayat ng bukas na pag-uusap, at nagtataguyod ng pagmamahal at pag-unawa. Kung ikaw o may kakilala kang nangangailangan ng tulong, huwag mag-atubiling makipag-ugnayan. Narito kami upang tumulong.

Sa bawat himig ng ating wika, naririnig ang tibok ng bayan.
Sa bawat pantig at titik, nagbubukas ang pinto ng pagkakaunawaan.
Ang Wikang Filipino ay hindi lamang kasangkapan ng pakikipag-usap,
kundi ilaw na gumagabay, tulay na nag-uugnay,
at haligi ng pagkakaisa ng sambayanan.

Ngayong Buwan ng Wika, ating ipagdiwang ang ating salita
wikang nagmumulat sa kaisipan, nagbubuklod sa puso,
at nagsisilbing lakas ng ating pagkatao at pagkabayani.
