Following the official inspection and clearance of all buildings by the Office of the Building Official (OBO) of the LGU General Santos City, the School Administration has decided to postpone the opening of classes to ensure the continued safety, well-being, and preparedness of our students, parents, faculty, and staff.

In the midst of fear and uncertainty brought by the recent earthquake in General Santos City, the “𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜” initiative of 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞, led by Madam 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗧. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘆 and the 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆, became a source of comfort and hope for many affected residents.

Hundreds of families and individuals flocked to the outreach activity, carrying stories of fear, sleepless nights, and damaged homes. Despite the pain and struggles caused by the disaster, smiles and tears of gratitude filled the area as relief goods and assistance were distributed to those in need.

More than the food and support extended, the activity reminded everyone that in times of calamity, compassion and unity remain stronger than fear. Through this meaningful act of generosity, 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 and the 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 once again showed that true service comes from the heart uplifting lives, restoring hope, and standing with the community in times of adversity.

𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒆 𝟏𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – 𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒐𝒎!

From the mountains of Luzon, to the islands of Visayas, and the lands of Mindanao we are one people, one home, one heart. Our independence is not just about being free from others, it is about standing together, no matter how different we may seem.

This June 12, let us remember: freedom is stronger when we help each other. Let us be kind to our neighbors, support our fellow Filipinos, and build a nation where everyone feels safe, loved, and valued. May our light as a people never fade.
