Safety is a shared responsibility! Today, August 25, 2026, Baluan National High School successfully conducted a powerful Campus Security Awareness Orientation at the school campus.

We were deeply honored to welcome Dr. Noel R. Ponsaran, PhD, CSP, CSM, CSC, MAPM—Interim President of Sarangani State College and a top national security expert—as our distinguished Resource Speaker. Dr. Ponsaran delivered crucial insights and actionable security strategies to keep our campus safe, peaceful, and vigilant.

This impactful activity was actively participated in by our dedicated School Principal, Sir Bonifacio L. Piezas Jr., who led the initiative, alongside Hon. Dennis Besa, our Barangay Captain. They were joined by our committed teachers, parents, selected student representatives, valued stakeholders, and Barangay Peace Officers (Barangay Tanod).

STRENGTHENING TEACHERS’ PREPAREDNESS FOR A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

On August 11, 2026, Baluan National High School initiated its 1st School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) Session for SY 2026–2027, focusing on strengthening teachers’ preparedness in responding to active-shooting incidents and other critical emergencies in school. The session featured “Understanding Conflict and How to Address It,” facilitated by BGen Noel R. Ponsaran, PhD (Ret.), and “Basic Self-Defense,” led by MSgt. Carlito M. Englatera Jr., PN (M) (Ret.). The teachers actively participated in the hands-on self-defense activities, gaining practical knowledge and skills to enhance their awareness, readiness, and confidence during emergency situations.

Preparedness is protection. Prepared teachers help build safer schools. 🛡️🏫❤️

🏫 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 will resume 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲-𝘁𝗼-𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀 starting tomorrow, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 13, 2026.

📌Please take note: Although face-to-face classes will resume, the Senior High School (SHS) will adopt a shifting schedule:
• Grade 11: Monday–Tuesday–Wednesday
• Grade 12: Thursday–Friday

All learners are reminded to observe the prescribed 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝘀 and follow the guidance of their teachers and school personnel.

Hinihiling namin ang inyong pakikipagtulungan na manatiling nakatutok lamang sa opisyal na page ng DepEd General Santos City, LGU GenSan: TATAK Heneral at Serbisyong Totoo: Tatak Pacquiao para sa mga susunod na abiso at mahahalagang anunsyo.

Samantala, patuloy nating unahin ang kaligtasan at kapakanan ng bawat isa. Manatiling maingat, mapagmatyag, at sumunod sa mga ipalalabas na opisyal na anunsyo ng mga kinauukulang awtoridad.

Baluan National High School proudly announces the successful distribution of lapel microphones to all its teaching personnel. These devices, provided through the initiative of the Department of Education, are now in the hands of our teachers and are ready to support more effective classroom instruction.

The distribution of these lapel microphones will help teachers deliver lessons with greater clarity while reducing vocal strain during extended teaching hours. More importantly, they ensure that every learner can hear lessons clearly, fostering better engagement and an improved learning experience inside the classroom.

This initiative reflects the Department of Education's unwavering commitment to empowering teachers with resources that enhance the quality of teaching and learning.

Baluan National High School extends its heartfelt gratitude to DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara for his continued commitment to supporting Filipino educators through meaningful programs that strengthen classroom instruction. Hinihiling namin ang patuloy na pakikipagtulungan ng mga magulang, tagapag-alaga, at mga mag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng regular na pakikipag-ugnayan sa kanilang mga class advisers upang manatiling updated sa mga anunsyo at mga gawaing pampagkatuto.

JUST IN | June 28,2026

There will be 𝐧𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞-𝐭𝐨-𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 tomorrow 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 29,2026 (𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆). Since the school will undergo 𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 following the Magnitude 6.5 earthquake last Friday.

With this Baluan National High School shall implement 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲 (𝗔𝗗𝗠).

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 (𝗟𝗔𝗦) will be distributed through the respective class messenger group chats.

Encouraging parents and learners to maintain good communication with their respective advisers.

Starting June 29 to July 3,2026, Baluan National High School will adapt 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 following safety measures.

Here are the following schedules:

June 29 - July 1,2026 - Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (Morning)

*Face-to-Face Classes for All Grades 7, 8, and 9 curriculum.
*Modular Distance Learning for All Grades 10,11, & 12

July 1 - July 3,2026 - Wednesday (Afternoon), Thursday, and Friday

*Face-to-Face Classes for All Grades 10,11 and 12 curriculum.
*Modular Distance Learning for All Grades 7,8, and 9.
