The Joji Ilagan International School of Hotel and Tourism Management recently conducted its scheduled On-the-Job Training (OJT) monitoring for our BS International Tourism Management students currently training at 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁.

Our first-year students are currently enjoying an unforgettable island hopping experience in El Nido, Palawan as part of their cultural immersion program.

Our Hospitality, Tourism, and Culinary students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the various departments of Lime Hotels and Resorts El Nido through a comprehensive hotel familiarization tour.

This hands-on industry exposure provided valuable firsthand insights into the daily operations, service standards, and management practices of a leading hospitality establishment. By exploring key departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources, Engineering, and Guest Services, students were able to bridge classroom learning with real-world industry practices.

This immersive experience reflects one of the unique strengths of the Joji Ilagan International Schools curriculum -providing authentic learning opportunities that develop industry-ready professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills, and global mindset needed to excel in the hospitality and tourism sector.

Thirty-eight students from the Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management, Bachelor of Science in International Tourism Management, and Bachelor of Science in International Culinary Management gained firsthand knowledge from an industry leader on innovation, guest experience, service excellence, and the future of hospitality in an increasingly dynamic and technology-driven world.

Through this engaging session, our future tourism, hospitality, and culinary professionals were inspired to embrace adaptability, innovation, and a guest-centered mindset-essential qualities for success in the global hospitality industry.
