Search for the 1st Mr. & Ms. ICT
PAGEANT
February 12, 2013

RATIONALE
The Computer Society (COMSOC) will be conducting its very first Search for the Mr. & Ms. ICT Pageant that would help develop strong sense of self esteem and camaraderie among the candidates.

OBJECTIVES
1. To give recognition to the Mr. & Ms. ICT of the school year 2012-2013.
2. To promote unity and camaraderie among students.
3. To improve well-roundness, self esteem and confidence of the students by developing their special talents.
4. To be able to promote awareness on the different issues arising on the society in terms of technology.

PAGEANT MECHANICS

Eligibility
1. To qualify for the pageant, participants must be a bona fide BSIT, BSCS or ACT student of this institution.
2. Each participating section shall provide one (1) pair of representative composed of male and female.
3. Each participating individual shall submit the accomplished registration forms on or before January 31, 2013 Thursday until 6:00p.m. (No more extensions).


Elimination Round
1. Elimination round will be held at STI College-GenSan (2nd floor) on February 2, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.
2. The elimination round will hold CASUAL WEAR and QUESTION & ANSWER.
3. The winning five (5) pairs of the elimination round shall proceed to the Pageant Proper.
4. Voting sheets for Popularity votes shall be sold at ₱ 1.00 in the elimination event after the winning pairs have been announced.
5. Voting will end on February 11, 2013 at exactly 2:00 p.m.

Pageant Proper
1. The Pageant will hold (4) events namely, FUTURISTIC, UNIFORM, DEFENSE/CORPORATE ATTIRE and QUESTION & ANSWER PORTION.
2. The Popularity votes are to be surrendered to the officers-in-charge on or before 2:00p.m. on February 11, 2013. Failure to do so will mean forfeiture of the gathered votes.
3. The Criteria for judging are as follows:
Futuristic Attire – 15%
Uniform Attire – 10%
Defense/Corporate Attire – 15%
Popularity Votes – 20%
Beauty & Personality – 20%
Question & Answer – 20%
Total - 100%
4. Announcement of top 6 finalist, 3 males and 3 females will follow after the computation of scores.
5. Scores of the Top 6 will be back to zero.
6. The Final Interview (Q&A) will follow shortly.
Note: The Final Question will be coming from the judges.
7. The Announcement of winners will follow, 2nd runner up, 1st runner up and Mr. and Ms. ICT
(Information and Communications Technology) Pageant 2013, respectively. Winners are judged based on their answers during the Final Interview.
