Recent events have reminded us that emergencies can happen when we least expect them. While we can't always predict what will happen, we can prepare for how we'll respond.
Last July 29, 2026, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), through the Office of the Safety Officer, organized an AED and CPR Training for selected faculty members, staff, and Supreme Student Government (SSG) officers in preparation for the new school year.
Conducted by Dadiangas Medical Center, with Dr. Rey R. Ponteras as trainer and lecturer, the session equipped our participants with essential knowledge and hands-on skills to respond quickly and confidently during medical emergencies.
Especially in light of the recent earthquakes experienced by our community, initiatives like this remind us that preparedness isn't just about having an emergency plan but about having people who are ready to act when it matters most.
As we begin another school year, STI College โ General Santos continues to strengthen a culture of safety, readiness, and care for one another. ๐๐
This initiative supports SDG 3 โ Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4 โ Quality Education, SDG 11 โ Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 17 โ Partnerships for the Goals.

And we're even more proud to share that Chef Ronald ranked No. 1 in the Workshop Presentation! ๐๐๐ป His expertise, creativity, and passion for culinary arts truly made STI College โ General Santos stand out during the celebration.
