The initiative aimed to foster the talents, skills, and holistic development of the youth through meaningful engagement, cultural appreciation, and hands-on learning activities. It brought together faculty members, student volunteers, and community participants in a collaborative effort to promote education and creativity.

The program formally commenced with an opening prayer and orientation, setting the tone for a day of learning and engagement. A welcome message was delivered by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗜𝗜, who expressed strong support for the partnership between the institution and the local community.

Participants were then grouped into specialized learning areas based on their interests. Under 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼, 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀, learners engaged in interactive workshops on music, drawing, dancing, and storytelling, promoting cultural appreciation and self-expression. Meanwhile, the 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 sessions provided hands-on experiences in cooking and practical skill-building, equipping participants with useful life skills.

The afternoon sessions continued with interactive learning activities and cultural showcases facilitated by dedicated student volunteers, ensuring active participation and experiential learning among the youth.

A recognition ceremony was held to acknowledge the enthusiasm and participation of the learners, followed by an evaluation session to assess the program’s impact. The activity concluded with the distribution of school supplies and giveaways, further supporting the educational needs of the participants.

The extension team, led with the support of 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼 𝗬. 𝗞𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲, ILREO Extension Coordinator, demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and a strong commitment to community service. The positive response and satisfaction expressed by the pupils highlighted the success of the initiative in empowering the youth through education, culture, and skills development.

This meaningful undertaking reflects the institution’s continued commitment to community engagement, service learning, and nation-building by nurturing the potential of young learners in local communities.
