PRC XII AWARDS THE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE TO J.A. BERNAL CENTER FOR EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Regional Office XII has awarded a Certificate of Compliance (COC) to the J.A. Bernal Center for Exceptional Children on April 30, 2026 in Koronadal City.

The issuance of COC signifies that the center meets the stringent requirements set forth by the Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) of Speech and Language Pathology. This recognition comes after a thorough inspection conducted by the Board and PRC XII in July 2025. The inspection aimed to evaluate the center’s adherence to the provisions of RA 11249, also known as the “Speech Language Pathology Act.” This crucial Philippine law governs and regulates the practice of speech-language pathology across the country.

The certificate was presented by Mr. Ronald Von D. Rivera, PRC XII Chief Professional Regulations Officer, received by Mr. Julius A. Bernal, Owner of the J.A. Bernal Center foe Exceptional Children.

Community Learning (Social Skills Training)

Our learners spent a meaningful morning at Robinsons Mall – Sploop Arcade, engaging in fun and purposeful activities.

This session focused on practicing social behaviors, improving communication, building independence in public spaces, strengthening emotional regulation, and encouraging peer interaction—all while applying skills learned in therapy to real-life situations.
