Safe to Learn, Safe to Shine: LNHS Annex Holds Bullying Symposium

Lagao National High School Annex conducted a Bullying Symposium for learners, together with their advisers and floating teachers, to promote awareness, respect, and a safe and inclusive school environment.

The activity was held in collaboration with Guidance Advocate Ma’am Vanessa D. Manato, the Values Education Department headed by Ma’am Decelyn S. Mariano, and the SSLG led by President Mark Rhainier Castarilla. The program was facilitated by the SSLG officers and hosted by Vice President Ms. Frencess Jean S. Lutiva.

Mr. Roger N. Cocoba, School Learner Formation Officer, served as the resource speaker and discussed DepEd Order No. 06, s. 2026: Guidelines on Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment, emphasizing the importance of preventing bullying and promoting positive behavior among learners.

The activity was supported by Curriculum Heads Ma’am Mary Jane G. Secretaria and Mr. Kenneth Emmanuel B. Jamerlan, together with the School Administration headed by Ms. Maria Elsie B. Federizo, Principal III.

Where Leadership Begins: LNHS Annex Club Launching and Election of Officers

A new chapter of student leadership unfolded at Lagao National High School Annex as learners came together for the Club Launching and Election of Officers—an activity that highlighted their talents, interests, teamwork, and commitment to service.

The activity was led by Ma’am Mary Jane G. Secretaria, Curriculum Head of the Senior High School Department, and Mr. Kenneth Emmanuel B. Jamerlan, Curriculum Head of the Junior High School Department. The SSLG also played an active role in assisting and facilitating the event.

Beyond the election of officers, the activity served as a platform for learners to discover their potential, embrace responsibility, and become active members of the school community.

With new leaders ready to serve and new clubs ready to shine, LNHS Annex continues to inspire learners to lead, participate, and make a difference.

Welcoming Learners Back to Face-to-Face Classes

After the June 8 earthquake, Lagao National High School Annex warmly welcomed learners back to face-to-face classes with renewed hope, courage, and resilience. The return to school marked a meaningful step toward rebuilding confidence and bringing the school community together once again.

The day began with a meaningful Flag Ceremony headed by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), fostering unity, discipline, and a strong sense of belonging among learners and teachers.

As learners returned to their classrooms, the LNHS Annex community embraced a new beginning - stronger, braver, and more determined to continue learning.

NOT ALLOWED:
* Stainless steel/metallic spoons and forks
* Tinted or opaque water bottles
* Cutters, pocket knives, or other sharp objects

ALLOWED:
* Reusable plastic spoons and forks
* Clear/transparent water bottles

NOTE: Prohibited items will be confiscated and may only be claimed by a parent or guardian at the Office of the Learner Formation Officer.

BUWAN NG WIKA

Nakikiisa ang LAGAO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX sa pambansang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa!

Ang tema ngayong taon, “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” ay nagpapakita kung paano magkasabay na umuunlad ang ating pambansang wika at mayamang kultura kasama ng makabagong teknolohiya tulad ng Artificial Intelligence (AI) nang hindi nababawasan ang halaga ng ating pagkakakilanlan.

Ang ating Pambansang Wika ay hindi lamang isang paraan ng pakikipagtalastasan. Isa rin itong paalala sa sakripisyo ng mga bayaning nagbuwis ng dugo, nagbigay ng inspirasyon sa pamamagitan ng kanilang mga isinulat, at nagpakita ng katapangan upang ipaglaban ang ating kalayaan laban sa mga sumakop sa ating bansa. Hindi kailanman mapapalitan ng Artificial Intelligence (AI) ang kakayahan ng tao o ang ating wika. Sa halip, maaari itong magsilbing kasangkapan upang higit nating maunawaan at mapahalagahan ang ating sariling wika.

Hindi pinapalitan ng teknolohiya ang ating wika. Sa halip, ito ay nagsisilbing kasangkapan upang mas madaling makahanap ng mga sagot at maging mas madaling maabot ang impormasyon. Nananatiling nakaugat ang ating wika sa ating kasaysayan, kultura, at karunungan.

Kasabay ng inobasyon, mapapanatili natin ang ating pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino. Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang ating wika sa makabagong digital na panahon!

Maligayang Buwan ng Wika!

PAUNAWA

Magalang naming ipinababatid sa lahat ng ating mga mag-aaral, magulang, g**o, at iba pang mga stakeholder na wala pang opisyal na anunsyo mula sa Pamahalaang Lokal ng General Santos City (LGU GenSan) kaugnay ng pagpapatuloy ng face-to-face classes.

Hinihiling namin ang inyong pakikipagtulungan na manatiling nakatutok lamang sa opisyal na page ng DepEd General Santos City, LGU GenSan: TATAK Heneral at Serbisyong Totoo: Tatak Pacquiao para sa mga susunod na abiso at mahahalagang anunsyo.

Samantala, patuloy nating unahin ang kaligtasan at kapakanan ng bawat isa. Manatiling maingat, mapagmatyag, at sumunod sa mga ipalalabas na opisyal na anunsyo ng mga kinauukulang awtoridad.

Maraming salamat sa inyong pang-unawa, pakikiisa, at patuloy na suporta.

Sa lahat ng mga magulang at tagapag-alaga:

Inaanyayahan po kayo na dumalo sa General PTA Assembly and Mass Induction of the Newly Elected General PTA and Homeroom PTA Officers na gaganapin sa Hulyo 30, 2026 (Huwebes), 1:00 PM, sa Lagao Annex Open Court.

Pagkatapos ng pagpupulong at panunumpa, maaari na pong magtungo ang mga magulang at tagapag-alaga sa kani-kanilang silid-aralan para sa pagsusumite ng mga output ng mga mag-aaral.
