This is to formally inform all Shari'ah students that our Yell Practice today is 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬. Everyone is required to participate and show full cooperation as we prepare for the upcoming event. This is for the unity and representation of our department.

Please be reminded that 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱. Any student who fails to attend or participate without a valid and reasonable excuse will be fined 100 𝗽𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘀.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐎 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐑 𝟑𝐑𝐃 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The Shari’ah Students’ Organization (SHASSO) of Mindanao State University – General Santos participated in the 3rd Student Leadership Summit held on September 17 and 19, 2026.

The two-day summit gathered student leaders, campus journalists, and representatives from recognized student organizations across the university for meaningful discussions on student governance, civic engagement, and Indigenous leadership.

Through this engagement, SHASSO continues to promote student-led initiatives, foster active participation, and cultivate holistic, culturally grounded leadership within the university community.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | SHASSO Team Building 2026

Last September 26, 2026, the student leaders of the Shari’ah Students’ Society (SHASSO) gathered for their Team Building Activity aimed at strengthening organizational synergy and cultivating essential leadership qualities.

The program featured collaborative challenges designed to test teamwork, followed by an open forum focused on constructive dialogue, mutual understanding, and character development. Grounded in a shared commitment to growth, the discussions served as a space for reflection and enlightenment for future leaders.

Through these shared experiences, SHASSO continues to move forward united in purpose and service.

𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 | 𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗕𝗔𝗬 𝗞𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗪: 𝘑𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘗𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦

From General Santos City to Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte — this was more than just a trip, it was a journey toward peace.

For 3 days, witnessed how a community transformed its story — 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘀. We learned that true peace is not just the absence of conflict, but the presence of unity, understanding, and hope.

Our sincerest gratitude to the LGU of Kauswagan, the National Youth Commission, Sangguniang Kabataan, and everyone who made this meaningful journey possible.

We are bringing back to GenSan not just memories, but a commitment to be youth advocates for peace. 🤍

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | DAY 1 Student leaders, campus journalists, and organization representatives across MSU-GenSan convened at the University Library AVR yesterday, September 18, 2026, to mark the 3rd Student Leadership Summit.

Guided by the theme “Rehumanizing Leadership, Rebuilding Communities,” the event focused on equipping youth leaders with deeper insights into authentic and transformative leadership.

From ulam to merienda to pastries — our faculty, staff, and students got to see, taste, and experience authentic Tausug Traditional Foods.

Excerpt from the 2nd Regular Meeting of the Shari'ah Students Society (SHASSO) of Mindanao State University - General Santos City.

The Executive Board, Year-Level Representatives, and Committee Chairpersons convened via Google Meet to align upcoming programs and address key matters for the Shari'ah student community.

Order of the Business:
The meeting was called to order by Hon. Jovilly Francisco, followed by a Muslim Prayer led by Hon. Datu Sakur Badtigan.

ATTENDANCE SUMMARY:
