HTC-CWTS: SUCCESSFUL DOH VALIDATION — FIRST IN REGION XII & THE PHILIPPINES!

HTC-CWTS proudly celebrates its successful validation for the DOH Best NSTP Implementer!

Out of ALL HEIs in Region XII, only 5 schools advanced to face-to-face validation , and from General Santos City, only Holy Trinity College of General Santos City was able to submit its Letter of Intent, and complete yesterday’s validation!

📌 WHY THIS MATTERS
Within the SOCCSKSARGEN Region, HEI youth represent a critical sector in addressing public health concerns — unhealthy lifestyles, vaccine hesitancy, mental health challenges, substance use, environmental risks, and health inequities in underserved areas.

Integrating Health Promotion within NSTP‑CWTS turns national health priorities into community action — strengthening student leadership, accountability, and measurable public health outcomes. This recognition institutionalizes excellence, innovation, and sustainability in NSTP health promotion — anchored on RA 9163, RA 11223, and the DOH Health Promotion Framework Strategy.

Today’s CWTS General Orientation and discussion of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Law equipped our students with a deeper understanding of the program’s goals, responsibilities, and the vital role of civic engagement in nation-building.

As future community leaders and responsible citizens, may we continue to uphold the values of volunteerism, patriotism, social responsibility, and compassionate service for the betterment of our communities.
