Today, we joyfully celebrate Notre Dame Day and the birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a special occasion that brings our Notre Dame community together in faith, gratitude, and love.

We began the celebration with a Eucharistic Celebration, giving thanks to God and reflecting on the significance of Notre Dame Day and the values that continue to guide us as a community. In honor of Mary, our Mother, we also held a Marian Pilgrimage and the praying of the Holy Rosary, offering our prayers and devotion to her.

Alongside these faith-filled activities, our Grades 4โ€“6 pupils participated in a Symposium on Su***de Prevention with the theme โ€œChanging the Narrative: From Silence to Support,โ€ promoting awareness, compassion, and the importance of reaching out and supporting one another. Truly, this day reminds us to live our Notre Dame values through faith, compassion, service, and care for one another. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

The school continues to strengthen its commitment to inclusive and responsive education through a meaningful professional development workshop on dyslexia awareness, practical strategies, and classroom management.

Our teachers engaged in valuable learning that deepens their understanding of students with dyslexia and equips them with practical approaches to better support their learning needs.

We extend our greatest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to our Guest Instructor, Ms. Ruth M. Tougas, for sharing her expertise, experience, and valuable insights in this workshop.

Every learner deserves to be understood, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š

As Maristas, may we carry her example in our daily lives, serving others with compassion, strengthening our faith, and becoming bearers of hope wherever we go.

May Mama Mary guide and bless our NDDU community always. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š
