In fulfillment of City Ordinance No. 12 series of 2008 or the “General Santos City Ecological Solid Waste Management Ordinance”, we aim to play a pro-active and participatory role in respect of environmental issues through reducing our negative impacts and increasing reformative actions towards sustainability. We at Gensantos Foundation College, Inc. (GFI) will actively pursue a policy of environmental best practice in order to assist in creating an environmentally sustainable future. In taking this course of action it is acknowledged that environmental best practice is required for an environment-friendly and sustainable school.

▪️Bringing of any forms of plastics inside the school campus such as but not limited to plastic water/soft drinks bottle, straws, plastic cups and utensils, plastic cellophane, styro foam and the like is strictly prohibited.
Hence, using of water tumbler and bringing of lunch box is highly encouraged.

▪️Discard waste to respective trash bins according to their category.

𝙂𝙁𝙄 𝙧𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡

To strengthen campus safety and emergency preparedness, Gensantos Foundation College (GFI) conducted an earthquake drill today, September 15, involving non-board students, faculty, and staff from both morning and afternoon classes.

The activity was spearheaded by the GFI Medic Team in collaboration with various school clubs and organizations, with participants practicing proper emergency response and evacuation procedures throughout the drill.

The earthquake drill provided the GFI community with an opportunity to apply established safety protocols and reinforce preparedness in the event of an earthquake.
