📣 UPPER LONDON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DRESS CODE GUIDELINES

To our dear Upper London Elementary School (ULES) students, parents, and visitors, let us all work together to maintain a safe, respectful, and focused learning atmosphere.

Please be guided by our official dress code and campus attire guidelines:

🏫 FOR STUDENTS: Proper Uniform (Nararapat)

✅ Complete school uniform: Prescribed by the school.
✅ School ID: Wearing a school ID at all times.
✅ Appearance: Neat and clean appearance.
✅ Footwear: Proper footwear (black shoes and white socks for girls).
✅ Grooming: Well-groomed hair.

👥 FOR PARENTS & VISITORS

Proper Attire (Nararapat):

✅ Tops: Polo shirts/T-shirts with collars or long sleeves.
✅ Bottoms: Slacks, pants, jeans, or knee-length skirts/dresses.

Improper Attire (Di-nararapat - Strictly Prohibited):

❌ Sando, shorts, cropped tops/hanging tops.
❌ Ripped jeans, plunging neckline.
❌ Sleeveless, spaghetti straps.
❌ Backless tops or short skirts.

🌿 Let us all wear appropriate attire. Together, we keep ULES safe, respectful, and focused on learning!

Patuloy na sinisig**o ng DepEd na ligtas, maayos, at may malasakit ang ating mga paaralan para sa bawat mag-aaral at kawani.

Narito ang mga hakbang na maaaring ipatupad ngayon ng mga paaralan upang makaiwas sa panganib, makatugon agad sa insidente, at maalagaan ang buong school community, alinsunod sa DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026 o Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment (ESMLE) Policy.

Day 1 Kickoff: Upper London Elementary School In-Service Training! 📚✨

Upper London Elementary School officially kicked off its School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) for Day 1 on September 10, 2026, centering on the theme "Strong Foundations, Brighter Learners."

The day's productive sessions began with an 8:00 AM Opening Program facilitated by Kindergarten and Grade 1 teachers. This was followed by Jenny I. Sanchez, TIV, Reading and ARAL Focal Person, who spoke on Curriculum Framework: Enriching Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Integration (CFELNAI). Next, Michele O. Ongria, MT I, led a session on capacity building for Key Stage 1 teachers focusing on learning recovery in literacy and numeracy.

After a management of learning session facilitated by Grade 2 and Grade 3 teachers in the afternoon, the training concluded with an in-depth look at the Dynamic Learning Program. Lezeth Joy T. Butlig, TIII, GAD Focal Person and Department Head Designate, presented an overview of the program and guided teachers on preparing daily learning sheets and integrating differentiated instruction.

Through continuous professional growth and learning together, ULES remains steadfast in its mission of fostering better teachers and brighter learners! 💚🏫

Today, Ma’am Ongria, Master Teacher I conducted a pre-evaluation of the Reading Nooks set up by our dedicated teachers in Upper London Elementary School.

It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the creative, cozy, and engaging environments our teachers have prepared to inspire a lifelong love for reading among our students. We appreciate Ma’am Ongria’s invaluable feedback, guidance, and continuous support as we fine-tune these spaces for our learners.

🚨 NEWS FLASH | UPPER LONDON ES

ULES STRENGTHENS SCHOOL SAFETY THROUGH EMERGENCY MEETING, SPTA ACTION

AUGUST 24, 2026 | Upper London Elementary School convened an Emergency Meeting with teachers, SPTA officers, parents, and school stakeholders to strengthen school safety, security, preparedness, and shared responsibility following recent challenges affecting the school community.

The meeting resulted in concrete school-community actions supported through SPTA resolutions:

⛑️ SPTA Resolution No. 2, s. 2026
Supports the encouragement of protective safety helmets among learners, teachers, and school personnel as an additional precaution against earthquake and other calamity-related hazards.

🧹 SPTA Resolution No. 3, s. 2026
Institutionalizes a weekly school cleaning and maintenance activity, encouraging the participation of the SPTA, 4Ps families, SELG, parents, SBFP parents/guardians, and other stakeholders.

🛡️ SPTA Resolution No. 4, s. 2026
Establishes a rotational system for safeguarding and monitoring school gates through the active participation of SPTA and homeroom officers, parents, and other school stakeholders.

The meeting also reinforced awareness on school security and emergency preparedness, emphasizing that keeping the school safe cannot rest on one person or group alone.

Through stronger cooperation among the school, families, and community, ULES continues to turn preparedness into concrete action.

Safety is a shared responsibility. Preparedness is everyone’s commitment.

🟢 Ligtas ang Lahat sa Upper London Elementary School!

Ipinababatid namin sa lahat na ligtas na nakalabas ang ating mga mag-aaral mula sa kani-kanilang mga silid-aralan patungo sa ating safety holding area pagkatapos maramdaman ang lindol na may Intensity II kaninang alas 9 ng umaga.

Sa tulong at gabay ng ating mga g**o, mabilis at maayos na naisagawa ng mga bata ang tamang pamamaraan ng Duck, Cover, and Hold at ang maagap na paglikas.

Patuloy nating isinasapuso ang kaligtasan at kahandaan ng bawat mag-aaral. Manatiling kalmado at patuloy na mag-abang ng mga opisyal na impormasyon mula sa ating paaralan.

📚 Unang Araw ng Balik-Klase sa ULES!

Isang makabuluhan at ligtas na pagsisimula ng balik-klase ang sinalubong ngayong araw ng huwebes, Agosto 13, 2026, sa pagbabalik ng face-to-face classes sa Upper London Elementary School (ULES)! 🏫✨

Alinsunod sa direktiba ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng General Santos, itinuon ang unang l araw ng klase sa pagbibigay-prayoridad sa Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Services (MHPSS) at mga mahalagang orientation para sa kaligtasan at paghahanda sa sakuna. Layunin nitong masig**o ang emosyonal na kaligtasan ng ating mga mag-aaral at personnel na paaralan.

Kasabay nito, matagumpay ding nagsagawa ang paaralan ng dalawang Earthquake Drill—isa sa umaga at isa sa hapon. Ito ay upang masanay ang mga mag-aaral at personnel sa tamang aksyon na dapat gawin tuwing may lindol o iba pang emergency, pati na rin ang pagtukoy sa mga nakatalagang safety places at evacuation spaces sa paligid ng paaralan.

Sama-sama tayong magpatuloy para sa isang ligtas, handa, at matatag na taong panuruan! 💙
