Today, August 19, 2026, New Society National High School joins the nation in celebrating Lung Month, promoting awareness of the importance of healthy lungs and respiratory wellness.

Let us remember that healthy lungs mean a healthier and more active life! Let’s protect our lungs by avoiding smoking and va**ng, keeping our surroundings clean, practicing proper hygiene, staying physically active, and making healthy choices every day.

Matapos ang pagyanig na naramdaman ngayong umaga, agad na nagsagawa ng paglikas, pag-iingat, at pagsusuri sa kalagayan ng ating mga silid-aralan at school facilities ang New Society National High School.

Makikita sa mga larawan ang ating mga mag-aaral, g**o, at school personnel na nananatiling kalmado, alerto, at nagtutulungan upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng bawat isa.

Sa panahon ng lindol, mahalaga ang kahandaan, disiplina, pakikinig sa mga tagubilin, at pagtutulungan.

🙏 Patuloy nating unahin ang kaligtasan ng lahat. Manatiling alerto at sumunod sa mga opisyal na abiso ng paaralan at mga kinauukulang ahensya.

Inanunsyo ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng General Santos ang pagbabalik ng face-to-face classes sa lahat ng pampublikong paaralan simula Huwebes, Agosto 13, 2026.

Sa unang dalawang araw ng klase, bibigyang-prayoridad ang Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Services (MHPSS) at mga orientation tungkol sa kaligtasan at paghahanda sa sakuna para sa mga mag-aaral at personnel. Layunin nitong matulungan ang lahat na makabangon mula sa epekto ng mga nagdaang pangyayari at maging mas handa sa posibleng emergency.

Isasagawa rin araw-araw ang mga earthquake preparedness exercises, kabilang ang “Duck, Cover, and Hold,” at campus-wide earthquake evacuation drills nang hindi bababa sa isang beses kada quarter. Mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang paggamit ng mga lugar na idineklarang hindi ligtas o naka-cordon.

Pinapaalalahanan ang mga school head at administrator na unahin ang kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral at personnel at agad na itigil ang paggamit ng anumang pasilidad na magiging unsafe.

Manatiling alerto at umasa lamang sa opisyal na impormasyon mula sa City Government of General Santos, DepEd, at iba pang kinauukulang awtoridad.

𝘽𝙍𝙄𝘿𝙂𝙀𝙎 𝙊𝙁 𝙃𝙊𝙋𝙀 | 𝗡𝗦𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗗𝗢 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗣

New Society National High School (NSNHS) officially turned over the donations collected under Project HANEP to the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Sarangani, providing relief assistance to families affected by the recent earthquake and typhoon.

Project HANEP, which stands for Hands Assisting Neighbors in Emergency Perils, is a donation drive that promotes volunteerism, compassion, and community solidarity by gathering relief goods and other essential items for families affected by disasters.

The donation drive, spearheaded by Hanena L. Epino, Principal III, was carried out by the NSNHS Red Cross Youth (RCY) until the donations were officially turned over on July 30.

Teachers, stakeholders, and donors from outside the school supported the project, helping make Project HANEP a success.

The collected donations and relief goods were turned over to SDO Sarangani for distribution to the affected families and communities.
