In a resolute effort to safeguard communities, the Philippine National Police (PNP) initiated an impactful Anti-Terrorism and Drug Awareness Campaign on January 12, 2024, at Banisil National High School. Collaborating with the Barkada Kontra Droga BNHS (BKD BNHS), this campaign aims to educate and empower students in the fight against terrorism and drug abuse.

Through community engagement and informative sessions, the PNP and BKD BNHS strive to raise awareness about the threats posed by terrorism and the devastating consequences of drug misuse. By fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility, this joint endeavour seeks to create a resilient and informed society that actively rejects both terrorism and drug-related activities.

𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐒' 𝐃𝐀𝐘🕊️🕯️

Today, on All Saints' Day, we come together to remember and celebrate the extraordinary souls who walked this Earth, leaving a trail of kindness and love. This day is a solemn tribute to the saints, both known and unknown, who have graced our history with their unwavering faith and exemplary lives.

The roots of All Saints' Day reach back to the early Christian church. It was originally celebrated in May but was later moved to November 1st by Pope Gregory III in the 8th century. This change was made to coincide with the Celtic festival of Samhain, which marked the beginning of winter and the thinning of the veil between the living and the dead. By dedicating this day to the saints, the Church aimed to replace pagan traditions with Christian ones.

On this day, we carry on this beautiful tradition by honoring those who have shown us the path of compassion, sacrifice, and devotion. Their stories remind us that within each of us lies the potential for goodness and grace. Let us strive to live our lives as they did, embracing the values they cherished, and spreading love to every corner of the world.
