Taun-taon na ipinagdiriwang tuwing Hulyo 26 ang International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem (World Mangrove Day). Ito ay nagsisilbing paalala sa ating lahat na ang bawat bakawan ay importante para sa ating kalikasan, kabuhayan, at kapakanan.

𝑲𝒂𝒚𝒂’𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒂 𝒏𝒂, 𝑩𝑨𝑲𝑨𝑾𝑨𝑵'𝒕 𝒎𝒐 𝒃𝒖𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒂! Sabay-sabay nating tuklasin ang ilan sa mga kinikilalang wetlands sa buong kapuluan ng Pilipinas maging ng buong mundo sa ilalim ng Ramsar Convention.

Ang 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐏 ay isang flagship program ng Philippine Association of Environmental Science Students bilang pakikiisa sa mga araw na nakalaan para sa pagpapahalaga sa kapaligiran at mga kaugnay nito. Ang bawat araw na pangkaligirang ipinagdiriwang ay siklo na nararapat na mapanatili sa diwa, alaala, at araw ng tao. Para sa kalikasan at kamalayan ng mamamayan tungo sa sustinableng pag-unlad.
