In line with the requirements, aspiring candidates underwent an interview with the GFI Election Commission last April 15, 2026. The interview aimed to assess their leadership potential, communication skills, readiness to serve, and commitment to uphold the values and responsibilities of the Supreme Student Council.

This process ensures that all candidates are well-equipped, competent, and dedicated to representing the student body with integrity and excellence.

The Election Commission hereby informs all students that the 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 for this academic year, as 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 (𝟭) 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗰𝘆, making the electoral process uncontested.

In line with this, the selection of officers will be conducted through an 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀, as proposed by the 𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠 and duly approved by the 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁.

This decision is made to ensure the continuity of leadership and the effective delivery of services and programs for the student body.

In line with the upcoming GFI-SSC Elections, the Paragon invites the GFI community to take part in raising questions that matter.

Now’s your chance to raise your questions, concerns, or even insights to be addressed by the candidates running for the Supreme Student Council.

The Paragon will select 2-3 questions that will serve as the official queries for 𝙎𝙄𝙂𝘼𝙒 𝙂𝙁𝙄, one of the segments of 𝗦𝗔𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗦𝗢 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗢𝗡-𝗧𝗛𝗘-𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪 for the GFI-SSC Election candidates.

The filing of the Certificate of Candidacy (COC), along with the application process, will officially take place on April 6-7, 2026.

Applicants are advised to submit their COC at the Supreme Student Council Office and coordinate with Hon. Aldrin C. Atamosa or any member of the Electoral Commission (EleCom).
