The Gensantos Foundation College's Election Commission is happy to announce that the newly elected candidates have been acknowledged and declared. Since then, our partners have been vital for the success of this student election. On behalf of the Election Commission, we would like to thank and acknowledge the following individuals:

Paragon: Official Student Publication of GFI, for serving as the official publication during the Student Election 2025, led by Miss Mae Honey Jade Real, for having impeccable documentation, timely news, and for taking the initiative to pursue SAPULSO 2025 as a substitute platform in the absence of Miting de Avance. Thanks for your efforts and dedication.

GFI - Information Technology Education Department, led by Sir John Michael Tan and Sir Jeremy Hubac, served as the Official Board of Election Inspectors (BEI) for Student Election 2025, ensuring timely updates, a technological approach, and transparency.

It is the third segment where the candidates shall answer selected questions from bona fide GFI students and faculty and staff. The questions shall be submitted to the Paragon through answering the Google form to be posted by the Paragon before the interview. The interviewer shall ask the questions twice ONLY. The candidates shall be given 45 seconds to answer a question. Two questions shall be asked to all candidates but Aspiring Presidents shall be asked another exclusive question.

For transparency, all questions received by the Paragon in the Google Form were pinned on the Transparency Table inside the Interview room where the candidates wait after their turn.

It is the second segment where the candidate will be asked about their roles in common issues encountered by the GFI students. The interviewer shall ask the questions twice ONLY. The candidate will be given 45 seconds to answer a question. Two questions shall be asked to all candidates but the Aspiring President shall be asked another exclusive question.

It is the first segment where it focuses on the candidates' stand on the current significant National/Local sociopolitical issues. The interviewer shall state an issue and the candidate shall be given 5 seconds to only answer YES or NO. The candidate shall have the right to abstain to a certain issue. Their first answer shall what will be recorded and posted.

SAPULSO: On-the-Spot Interview – Guidelines on Excusable and Non-Excusable Reasons for Non-Appearance

To ensure fairness and accountability in SAPULSO: On-the-Spot Interview, the following guidelines outline what is considered an excused and non-excused reason for not participating.

In accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), all aspiring candidates are required to join in SAPULSO in the absence of Miting De Avance as a requirement for the election process. Non-compliance with this requirement will result in disqualification.

However, due to unforeseen circumstances, reasons provided by some of the candidates, and a low candidate pool, exemptions have been unfortunately considered. The ELECOM remains committed to maintaining honesty and fairness in the selection process while ensuring that each candidate is given a fair opportunity to participate.
