🚨 SCHOOL SAFETY DRILL 2026 | RUN. HIDE. FIGHT. 🚨

Klolang Elementary School successfully conducted its School Safety Drill today, September 3, 2026, at 9:00 AM, in collaboration with the Philippine National Police (PNP).

The activity focused on strengthening the awareness, preparedness, and response of our learners and personnel in the event of a potential security threat. Through the RUN. HIDE. FIGHT. protocol, everyone was guided on the appropriate actions to take to protect themselves and others during an emergency.

👟 RUN – Get away from the danger as quickly and safely as possible.
🛡️ HIDE – Find a secure place, stay quiet, and remain out of sight.
💪 FIGHT – As a last resort, take action to protect yourself and others.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the PNP for their valuable partnership and guidance in promoting a safer school environment.

Together, let us build a school community that is prepared, alert, and resilient. 💙

“Safety is everyone’s responsibility.”

Together, we build a stronger community for every learner. 🤝📚

🌏 5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Klolang Elementary School

At approximately 9:14 AM, a 5.2-magnitude earthquake was felt in the area of Klolang Elementary School.

Through the school’s continuous Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) preparedness, all learners and school personnel immediately applied the proper Earthquake Drill procedures—Duck, Cover, and Hold, followed by an orderly evacuation to the designated safe area.

This incident highlights the importance of regular earthquake drills and preparedness. Because our learners had been trained and oriented on what to do during an earthquake, they were able to respond calmly, properly, and safely.

Preparedness saves lives. Let us continue building a school community that is alert, resilient, and ready for any disaster. 🙏💪
