To our graduating 𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐒 members, you were never just students inside the classroom. You became innovators, leaders, teammates, and the kind of people who made every event, project, and memory meaningful for the organization. Your journey with PSITS may end as officers and members, but the impact you leave will continue to live on in the club and in the people you inspired.

| 𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆

The 10-Day 𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 Program was conducted to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and technical skills required for efficient and accurate tabulation operations. The training aimed to familiarize participants with the fundamental concepts of networking, system configuration, and the proper use of the Excel-based tabulation system used in data encoding and result consolidation.

Throughout the program, participants were introduced to essential topics such as network setup, client–server configuration, system connectivity, and basic troubleshooting procedures. Practical demonstrations and hands-on activities were also conducted to allow participants to apply the concepts learned during the sessions. These activities enabled them to practice connecting client computers to the main server, accessing shared systems, and encoding tabulation data accurately.

One of the highlights of the training was the hands-on simulation of the tabulation process, where participants practiced entering sample data into the Excel tabulation template and verifying the automatically generated totals and summaries. This exercise helped strengthen their understanding of the workflow and ensured that they could properly operate the tabulation system during actual implementation.

The training concluded on the tenth day with a review of key concepts, an open forum for questions and clarifications, and the awarding of certificates to the participants who successfully completed the program. The awarding ceremony recognized the participants’ dedication, active participation, and commitment throughout the training.

Overall, the 10-Day Tabulation Training Program was successful in enhancing the participants’ competencies in tabulation procedures and system operation. The knowledge and skills gained from this training are expected to contribute to a more organized, accurate, and efficient tabulation process in future operations

PSITS Conducts Comprehensive Orientation, Reinforces Policies and Student Rights

August 1, 2025 - The Philippine Society of Information Technology Students conducted their first orientation program spearheaded by Club President Tricia Bautista. The meeting served to educate all members about PSITS' official rules, member policies, and student rights, while specially welcoming incoming first-year Information Systems students.

President Bautista outlined PSITS' upcoming activities and initiatives, highlighting key events and participation opportunities for members. The orientation emphasized creating awareness about both responsibilities and entitlements within the PSITS community, with interactive Q&A sessions ensuring all attendees understood the policies.

With a shared understanding of PSITS’ policies and member rights, we move forward as a united community—empowering each other to grow, collaborate, and excel in the field of Information Technology. Here’s to a productive year ahead!
