What an incredible display of talent, determination, discipline, and sportsmanship from the young athletes of BANWALAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL! 💪✨

Our learners proudly represented Banwalan Elementary School during the District Meet 2026 held at the Sports Complex, General Santos City, competing in different sporting events, including Athletics and Billiards. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🎱

From the thrilling races on the track and impressive jumps to the focus, precision, and strategic skills displayed in billiards, our young athletes gave their very best in every competition. Every stride, every jump, and every carefully planned shot showed their dedication and commitment to excellence. 👏🔥

🇵🇭🥗 BUWAN NG WIKA CUM NUTRITION MONTH 2026 🎉

On September 4, 2026, Banwalan Elementary School joyfully celebrated Buwan ng Wika Cum Nutrition Month through a series of fun, meaningful, and educational activities highlighting Filipino culture, language, and the importance of proper nutrition. The celebration featured a colorful parade of learners wearing Filipiniana and Indigenous Peoples (IP) attire, showcasing our rich cultural heritage and identity. Learners also participated in the Best in Barong and Filipiniana Attire, proudly displaying traditional Filipino clothing. The Talasalitaan Trivia enriched everyone’s knowledge of Filipino words while making learning enjoyable. Adding to the celebration were the Nutrition Month Food and Table Presentations, where learners showcased their creativity while promoting healthy, nutritious, and balanced food choices.

Through these activities, we celebrated the beauty of our wika at kultura while strengthening our commitment to proper nutrition and healthy living. 🛡️ STRENGTHENING SCHOOL SAFETY AND AWARENESS 📚

On September 3, 2026, Banwalan Elementary School conducted two meaningful activities focused on promoting the safety and well-being of our learners and school personnel.

The 1201st Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 12 (RMFB 12) conducted a Lecture and Simulation on Active Threat Response, providing participants with valuable knowledge on preparedness, safety measures, and appropriate actions during emergency situations.

Meanwhile, Police Station 7 – GSCPO conducted a Lecture on Bullying Prevention, emphasizing respect, kindness, and the importance of creating a safe and supportive school environment.

🧠💚 BANWALAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL successfully conducted the School-Based Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Services (MHPSS) Orientation for Teachers on June 18, 2026 through a face-to-face (F2F) session.

In light of the recent Magnitude 7.8 earthquake, this activity was conducted to support the well-being, mental health, and emotional resilience of teachers and school personnel. The orientation provided valuable insights on stress management, self-care, and psychosocial support to help educators cope with the challenges brought about by emergencies and disasters.

The activity was attended by 7 teaching personnel and 1 non-teaching personnel, reflecting our commitment to ensuring that every member of our school community remains mentally healthy, resilient, and ready to continue providing quality education.

Thank you to all participants for your active engagement and commitment to personal and professional well-being.
