The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED) Program joined the 𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘶𝘮 𝘚𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳 hosted by Pacific Southbay College Inc. and organized by the Bachelor of Science in Social Work, JSWAP PSCI Chapter, held at the PSCI Gymnasium on December 3, 2025. With the theme "𝑪𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕, 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒏 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅.”

This seminar emphasized the importance of proper manners, respectful behavior, and ethical conduct in today’s society. The speakers underscored the role of integrity and discipline in shaping one’s character. Students were encouraged to make responsible decisions, uphold honesty, and demonstrate accountability in their actions. Discipline, both in behavior and in mindset, was emphasized as a key quality that helps individuals stay committed to their goals, maintain professionalism, and act with purpose.

This annual rite symbolizes the students’ transition from classroom learning to actual field experience, highlighting their readiness to embrace the responsibilities of future educators. The pinning represents commitment, while the candle lighting honors the passing of knowledge and the enduring light of service that teachers bring to their communities.

The event gathered students, parents, and faculty members in a meaningful celebration of dedication, perseverance, and the noble calling of teaching - reinforcing PSCI’s mission of shaping compassionate and competent educators for the next generation.

Guided by the theme "𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙤𝙣𝙨: 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙧𝙚-𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚” the event was held on November 28, 2025, at Pacific Southbay College Gymnasium. ‎The 1st year BECED students successfully showcased their knowledge, skills, and creativity in their 𝑬𝑪𝑬 2 (𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉, 𝑵𝒖𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒂𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒚) subject through their final examination by preparing and presenting a variety of nutritious and delicious meals. The activity was headed by their subject teacher and head coordinator, Ma’am 𝘈𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘭 𝘈. 𝘈𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘴𝘢, 𝘓𝘗𝘛, and was judged by Sir 𝘑𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘔. 𝘉𝘶𝘨𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘨 and Ma’am 𝘊𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘑. 𝘙𝘢𝘯̃𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘴. It was held on October 24, 2025, at the S3 Classroom.

‎Each group demonstrated not only their cooking skills but also their understanding of how proper nutrition contributes to the growth and well-being of young learners. Their dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm made the activity both educational and enjoyable. Your hard work and effort have truly paid off, future educators!

‎The 2nd year BECED students showcased their teaching skills and creativity in their 𝑬𝑪𝑬 6 (𝑵𝒖𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒚 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕) subject through a series of final demonstration lessons, featuring five groups with different topics. The demonstration was headed by their subject teacher and head coordinator, Ma’am 𝘈𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘭 𝘈. 𝘈𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘴𝘢, 𝘓𝘗𝘛 and was evaluated by the distinguished panelists, Ma'am 𝘔𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘺 𝘏𝘺𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘩 𝘓. 𝘊𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘣𝘩𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘓𝘗𝘛 and Ma’am 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘭 𝘎𝘰𝘯𝘻𝘢𝘨𝘢, 𝘓𝘗𝘛. It was held on October 23, 2025, at the P5 Classroom.

‎Each group of selected demonstrators displayed their ability to deliver engaging and meaningful numeracy lessons, applying effective strategies that promote mathematical thinking and understanding among young learners.
‎
‎Through the panelists’ insightful feedback and constructive evaluation, the activity became even more valuable and enriching. Their comments highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of each group and guided the students in improving their lesson delivery, classroom management, and instructional techniques. The feedback served as a vital learning experience, helping the future educators reflect on their performance and grow into confident, competent, and compassionate teachers.
