The Office of the Student Affairs (OSA) conducted a Re-Echo Session on CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 18, Series of 2026 – Inclusive and Comprehensive Student Affairs and Services (SAS).

The session served as a cascade of the knowledge, key provisions, and learnings gained from the Public Orientation on CMO No. 18, Series of 2026 held at the CHED Central Office, UP Diliman, Quezon City, on August 20, 2026.

The session brought together the different officers and personnel involved in providing student services, providing an opportunity to cascade the key provisions of the CMO, clarify roles and responsibilities, and strengthen collaboration in delivering inclusive, responsive, and student-centered services.

Through continuous learning and collaboration, STI College General Santos remains committed to enhancing its student services and fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. 💙💛

This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 – Quality Education, 10 – Reduced Inequalities, 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.

STI College - General Santos, through the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), proudly participated in the Closing Program and Culmination Ceremony of the ASEAN Month-long Celebration organized by the Transnational Higher Education Unit of the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XII (CHEDRO XII) on August 27, 2026, in Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat ✨

Representing STI College - General Santos were Student Affairs Director and Acting International Relations Officer Julius Ceasar Malabad, LPT, COAP; Activity Coordinator Jeart Abalos; and SSG Senators Nicey Ember Ulanulan and Lowie Rosanto.

The celebration featured the ASEAN Amazing Race at the SKSU ACCESS Campus in the morning, where students from various HEIs across Region XII engaged in fun and meaningful activities centered on ASEAN culture, heritage, teamwork, and regional identity. The afternoon continued with the Culmination and Awarding Program at the Sultan Kudarat Convention Center.

The activity reflects STI College - General Santos’ commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 – Quality Education and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, by providing meaningful learning experiences that promote cultural awareness, collaboration, regional cooperation, and stronger partnerships among higher education institutions and stakeholders.

Together, we celebrate diversity, strengthen partnerships, and empower students toward a more connected ASEAN community.
