As part of the preparations for Project SAGIP 2026, The Tourism Management Department Voyager's Guild Officers conducted a courtesy call with the Sangguniang Kabataan of Tambler to foster collaboration and strengthen partnerships in pursuit of meaningful community engagement initiatives.

This meeting highlights the importance of collective action and stakeholder cooperation in addressing community needs, reflecting the principles of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. Through collaboration, mutual support, and shared responsibility, both organizations reaffirm their commitment to creating positive and sustainable impacts within the community.

Together, we move forward in service, leadership, and community development as we prepare for the successful implementation of Project SAGIP.

Our 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝-𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐒 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 students successfully organized the 2nd Business Tourism Symposium with the theme, “𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗪𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺.” The event brought together all 1st year, 2nd year, and 3rd year BS Tourism students, along with invited students from Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges Inc., creating a meaningful platform for learning, collaboration, and academic exchange.

The symposium provided participants with valuable insights into the evolving landscape of business tourism, highlighting emerging trends, innovations, and developments within the industry. It aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of real-world tourism operations and equip them with the adaptability needed to meet the dynamic demands of the global tourism and hospitality sector.

The event featured insightful discussions from distinguished speakers: 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐌. 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧, who shared valuable knowledge and perspectives on the aviation industry, and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐲 𝐆. 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐨, who discussed key concepts and developments in business tourism. Their expertise greatly enriched the learning experience of all participants by providing practical, industry-based insights.

This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝟰, by promoting inclusive, equitable, and quality learning opportunities for all.

Our 2nd Year BSTM students successfully hosted the 2nd Business Tourism Symposium! with the theme, 𝘈𝘥𝘢𝘱𝘵 & 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘞𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘉𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘛𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘛𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴. Their incredible event was fully organized and facilitated by their very own events organization, VenTworism, as part of their MICE course.
