𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | 𝐑𝐌𝐌𝐂 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 ‘𝟐𝟔

A new milestone has been achieved by 90 students who have officially earned their Master’s degrees during the Graduate School Commencement Exercises at Venue 88 Hotel and Events Place on Sunday, August 16.

The batch comprised 76 graduates in MAEd, Major in Educational Management; 8 in MAEd English; 4 in MAEd Guidance and Counseling; and 2 in MS Criminal Justice, specializing in Criminology.

The ceremony featured an inspiring address from Dr. Kristoffer Franz Mari R. Millado, RMMC College President, who reminded the graduates of their intellectual and professional growth.

“When we grow in knowledge, character, and resilience, we uplift our classrooms, we strengthen our community, and we transform the world around us. Let us continue to strive, not just for success, but for the profound personal transformation that makes progress inevitable for us all,” he said.

Leading the Class of 2026 was Batch Valedictorian Lorievel C. Alap-ap (MAEd English), who earned the highest GWA of 96.45%, alongside Batch Salutatorian Ruven V. Bacani (MAEd Guidance and Counseling) with a GWA of 95.25%.

Special academic distinctions were conferred to the graduates alongside recognition for students who received honors at various international research conferences.

Meanwhile, the new master’s degree holders were formally inducted into the RMMC Alumni Association by Sec. Helen P. Monteclaro, MA, on behalf of Alumni Pres. Felicidad P. Into, CPA.

Committed to its mission of developing excellent professionals, RMMC continues to empower educators and leaders with high-quality education to make a meaningful impact in their communities.

Honoring their perseverance and dedication, the Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, Inc. (RMMC) Graduate School Program formally conferred degrees to its new rolls of completers.
Held at Venue 88 Hotel and Events Place on August 16, the activity witnessed the culmination of years of sacrifice and hardship of 90 students—now masters in their respective fields.
Among the graduates, 76 finished their studies in Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) Major in Educational Management, 8 in MAEd English, 4 in MAEd Guidance and Counseling, and 2 in Master of Science in Criminal Justice (MSCJ) specializing in Criminology.
𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞
Lorievel C. Alap-ap, MAEd English graduate, delivered the Class of 2026 Valedictory Address after attaining the batch’s highest General Weighted Average (GWA) of 96.45%. In her message, she recalled the hardships of earning the degree and expressed gratitude to everyone who supported her journey.
“Fellow graduates, one lesson this journey has taught us is that growth often happens in discomfort. Nothing shaped us more than the challenges we faced— the uncertainty, the exhaustion, the disappointments, and those moments when we quietly asked ourselves, ‘Kaya pa ba nako?’
Those difficult moments... revealed a strength within us— we never knew we had. And perhaps that is the true meaning of this degree. Not merely the completion of academic requirements. Not the medals, the grades, or the recognition. Its true meaning lies in who we have become throughout the journey.” She shared.
Meanwhile, Ruven V. Bacani, majoring in Guidance and Counseling, was named the Batch Salutatorian, with a GWA of 95.25%.
Special academic awards were also conferred alongside recognitions for students who earned Best Paper Presentation honors at various international research conferences.
In addition, many graduates achieved significant career promotions, particularly in the teaching profession, after completing their postgraduate degrees.
