The faces of CAS 2026 are finally here.

Presenting the Official Headshots of our Mr. & Ms. CAS 2026 candidates. More than just photographs, these headshots introduce the individuals who are ready to rise through trials, embrace the journey, and reign with purpose.

For the Mr. & Ms. People’s Choice Award, CASmates are invited to show their support by reacting to their chosen candidate’s official headshot. The winners will be determined based on the total number of valid reactions received on each candidate’s official headshot.

Like and Heart reactions will both be counted, with each reaction carrying equal value regardless of the type of reaction. Only reactions made directly on this official post will be included in the final tally. Reactions from shared posts, reposts, screenshots, or other unofficial uploads will not be counted.

𝗠𝗿. & 𝗠𝘀. 𝗖𝗔𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱-𝗗𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄

September 18, 2026. The journey toward the crown continued today as the candidates of Mr. & Ms. CAS 2026 took part in the Closed-Door Interview at 10:00 a.m. at the CAS Multipurpose Hall.

The interview served as a crucial stage in the competition, giving candidates the opportunity to go beyond their physical presence and demonstrate their character, confidence, perspectives, communication skills, and individuality before the panel of judges.

Held behind closed doors, the interview provided a focused setting where candidates could express their thoughts, share their experiences, and articulate their views on various matters. It also allowed the judges to gain deeper insight into the personalities and qualities of each candidate.

The panel of judges carried out the important responsibility of evaluating the candidates during this significant phase of the competition. Their assessment forms part of the process as the candidates continue their journey toward the Mr. & Ms. CAS 2026 titles.

More than a test of confidence, the Closed-Door Interview emphasized the importance of substance, authenticity, and purpose. For the candidates, it was another opportunity to demonstrate that the journey to the crown extends beyond appearance and stage presence.

As the competition progresses, the candidates continue to embody this year’s guiding theme:

The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) faculty of Holy Trinity College of General Santos City participated in the Basic Course on Community Organizing held at the University of the Philippines – Diliman, Quezon City, from September 8–10, 2026.

The three-day seminar-workshop was attended by Ma’am Gwenn M. Juanatas, MiSDS, LPT, Ma’am Meljie M. Servito, MEDL, LPT, and Sir Jayrald E. Torrejos, RSW.

The activity aimed to enhance the participants’ knowledge, skills, and practical understanding of Community Organizing, equipping them with approaches and strategies that can further develop and strengthen the Community Extension Program of Holy Trinity College of General Santos City.

The activity supports SDG 4 – Quality Education by promoting continuous professional learning and capacity-building; SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities by strengthening inclusive and participatory community engagement; and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals by fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among educational and community stakeholders.

STRENGTHENING LOCAL IMPLEMENTATION | TARA BASA! TUTORING PROGRAM

Holy Trinity College participated in the Localized Project Implementation Review of the Tara Basa! Tutoring Program (TBTP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). The review serves as a strategic avenue to assess program implementation, identify areas for enhancement, and further strengthen the delivery of TBTP at the local level.

The activity brought together the Holy Trinity College Tara Basa! Tutoring Program–Technical Working Group (TBTP-TWG), headed by Ma'am Gwenn M. Juanatas, MiSDS, LPT, together with Sir Jayrald E. Torrejos, RSW, Ma'am Meljie M. Servito, MEDL, LPT, and Sir Daryl Keith N. Barade, LPT.

The review was conducted in collaboration with the Project Management Team, headed by Ma'am Blessy Joy L. Dela Peña, RSW, together with sir Janmark B. Lapiz, Ma'am Raiza Rae V. Fagalas, and Ma'am Jessa Mae G. Mondragon.

The activity underscores the value of collaborative monitoring, responsive program management, and continuous improvement in ensuring effective program implementation and maximizing the educational and developmental benefits of TBTP for learners and communities.

The activity supports SDG 4 – Quality Education by strengthening learning support and tutoring initiatives; SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities by promoting equitable access to educational opportunities; and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals by fostering collaboration among educational institutions, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
