𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗕𝗬 𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘, 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗕𝗬 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘

The spirit of ASEAN comes alive at Holy Trinity College as we celebrate unity, diversity, and friendship among Southeast Asian nations through the IZN Festival and SDG Congress day 2.

The event brings students together through meaningful discussions, cultural exchanges, and collaborative activities centered on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It highlights the importance of global connections, inclusivity, and collective action in creating a more sustainable future.

Together, we celebrate our shared identity, exchange ideas, and take meaningful steps toward a stronger and more sustainable ASEAN community.

𝗖𝗔𝗦 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦

𝗗𝗦𝗖 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

The CAS Department Student Council (DSC) officers, together with program presidents and representatives, held a meeting on August 11, 2026, at the Holy Trinity College (HTC) campus to discuss important matters concerning upcoming activities.

The meeting aimed to establish clear and organized preparations for the scheduled activities and ensure that the participating student leaders understood their respective responsibilities and plans.

DSC officers facilitated the discussion with representatives from different academic programs, allowing the student leaders to address activity-related concerns, coordinate preparations, and share necessary information.

The gathering also served as an avenue for the council and program representatives to align their plans and strengthen coordination in preparation for the upcoming student activities.

Through the meeting, the DSC emphasized the importance of proper communication and organization among student leaders to ensure the smooth implementation of future activities.

𝗖𝗔𝗦 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦

𝗦𝗦𝗖 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The Supreme Student Council (SSC) of Holy Trinity College of General Santos City gathered Department Student Councils on August 11 for a general orientation aimed at strengthening student leadership and preparing councils for the new academic year. The orientation was attended by representatives from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Teacher Education (CTE), College of Business Management and Accountancy (CBMA), College of Engineering and Technology Education (CETE), and College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE).

Representing the CAS Department Student Council were its President and Secretary, who joined fellow student leaders in discussing their plans, activities, and responsibilities for the academic year. The SSC presented the Year Plan of Activities as a guide for organizing programs, while discussions also covered Student Activity Evaluation and the Attendance System to help councils properly monitor and assess their activities and participation.

Preparations for the upcoming Buwan ng Wika celebration were also discussed, with SAMAFIL and the SSC coordinating the planned activities. The gathering strengthened communication and cooperation among the different student councils and provided student leaders with clearer goals and a better understanding of their responsibilities as they worked together to serve the student body throughout the academic year.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗗, 𝗖𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝗔𝗕𝗥𝗘 𝗞𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 × 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦’ 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗭𝗘

The HTC Trinidad Complex roared with excitement as Abre Klase 2026 × Students’ Day brought the HTC community together in a celebration of school spirit, leadership, talent, and camaraderie.

The event began with the Supreme Student Council and Department Student Council Parade and Freshmen Walk, led by the HTC Marching Band. The different colleges CETE, CAS, CTE, CBMA, and CCJE followed, filling the campus with colors, cheers, and pride as freshmen officially began their academic journey.

The energy continued as Dr. Rey T. Albano, School President, officially declared Abre Klase 2026 open. In his message, he welcomed the students and reminded them of the opportunities and challenges ahead. He also shared a simple yet meaningful reminder through the word APPLE, to ATTEND, PARTICIPATE, PRAY, LEARN & LEAD, and ENJOY, encouraging students to strive for success while making the most of their journey as Trinitarians.

The celebration continued with performances from HTC Space Bar, Handuraw, and other socio-cultural organizations, showcasing the creativity and talent of the HTC community.

Leadership then took center stage through the oath-taking of newly elected student officers, followed by the introduction of the HTC Student Council, clubs, organizations, socio-cultural groups, and varsity teams highlighting the many ways students can lead, serve, and belong.

The formal celebration concluded with the closing remarks of Atty. Josemar T. Albano, Provost and Chairman of the BOT, followed by the Grand Closing Salvo.

But the fire did not end there.
With more activities lined up for Abre Klase and Students’ Night, the HTC community continued the celebration through games, entertainment, and shared moments.

A new academic year has begun. The stage is set and the CAS Red Dragons have made one thing clear, the fire is only getting started.

𝗖𝗔𝗦 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦

𝗕𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Sa bawat salitang ating binibigkas, dala natin ang kuwento, kultura, at pagkakakilanlan ng ating bayan. Ang Buwan ng Wika ay hindi lamang pagdiriwang ng ating sariling wika, kundi isang paalala na ang Filipino ay bahagi ng ating pagkatao at nagsisilbing tulay upang mas mapalapit tayo sa isa’t isa.

Bilang mga mag-aaral, mahalagang patuloy nating gamitin, pahalagahan, at ipaglaban ang ating wika sa loob at labas ng silid-aralan. Sa panahon ng mabilis na pagbabago, nananatiling mahalaga ang ating kakayahang makipag-ugnayan, magpahayag, at makiisa gamit ang wikang tunay na atin.

Kasabay ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, ang Kolehiyo ng Sining at Agham ay naghahanda sa paparating na panibagong hamon. Bitbit ang tapang, pagkakaisa, at pagmamalaki sa ating pagkakakilanlan, patuloy tayong haharap sa bawat pagsubok bilang isang kolehiyong handang kumilos, matuto, at magtagumpay.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸

The Freshmen Walk are now underway at the HTC Trinidad Complex Covered Court on August 7, 2026, as Trinitarian students proudly march together to officially welcome the newest members of the HTC family for the Academic Year 2026–2027. The activity showcases school pride, unity, and the vibrant spirit of the Trinitarian community. It also marks the official opening of another meaningful academic journey.

As the freshmen take their ceremonial walk, they begin a new chapter filled with opportunities for learning, growth, and service. The entire Trinitarian community stands united in celebrating this memorable milestone. Welcome, freshies, and may your journey be filled with excellence, resilience, and success.
