Bawat ALS learner ay may na antas ng pagkatuto, oportunidad at pagbabago sa kani-kanilang buhay pagkatapos mag-aral sa ALS Program. Kaya sinikap ng DepEd ALS 2.0, sa pamumuno ni Assistant Secretary G.H. Ambat, na gawing kahanay na ng K to 12 Program ang curriculum ng ALS noon pang 2019.

Sa pamamagitan ng bagong ALS K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum (ALS K to 12 BEC), may pagkakataon na ang out-of-school youth and adults (OSYA) na magkaroon ng galing, kaalaman at kakayahan para sa mas mataas na antas ng edukasyon na makapagbibigay daan para makapag-apply sa kolehiyo. Ito ay maaaring makamit sa kumpletong basic education sa pamamagitan ng ALS.
