The Feast of the Immaculate Conception celebrates the belief that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was preserved from original sin from the very first moment of her existence. This special grace prepared her to become the Mother of Christ.
Celebrated on December 8, this feast highlights God’s plan of salvation and Mary’s unique role within it. It reminds the faithful of the power of grace, the beauty of purity, and the hope that God’s love begins working long before we even understand it.

First Sunday of Advent: A Season of Hope Begins ✨

The First Sunday of Advent marks the beginning of a sacred journey—four weeks of waiting, preparing, and opening our hearts to the coming of Christ. Today, we light the Candle of Hope, a gentle flame that reminds us that even in the darkness, God’s promises shine brighter than our fears.

This day invites us to pause from the noise of life, to breathe, and to remember that hope is more than a feeling—it is a gift. Advent calls us to trust that God is already at work in the quiet, hidden places of our lives, bringing healing, peace, and new beginnings.

As we enter this season, may our hearts be renewed with expectation. May this first candle inspire us to look forward with faith, to believe that better days are coming, and to welcome Christ with joyful anticipation.
