Preparing for emergencies is a collective effort—one that is strengthened when schools and families work together.

Today, Lagao Alliance School held another round of its Earthquake Drill, this time with the participation of our Grade 1 and Grade 3 learners. Through guided demonstrations and supervised practice, students were introduced to the appropriate actions to take during an earthquake, helping them develop confidence and awareness at an early age.

Parents and guardians also took part in the activity through an orientation on the proper earthquake response procedures. Their participation reinforced the vital role of families in supporting the safety and preparedness of every child, ensuring that the same practices are understood and applied both at school and at home.

Today, Lagao Alliance School conducted an Earthquake Drill for our Kinder 1–2 and Grades 4–6 learners as part of our continuous efforts to strengthen disaster preparedness and promote a culture of safety on campus.

Through guided simulations and proper emergency procedures, our students gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience on how to respond calmly and responsibly during an earthquake. These activities help equip our learners with practical skills that can make a difference in real-life situations.

We commend our students, teachers, and staff for their active participation and cooperation in making today's drill a success.

Today's Flag Ceremony was more than the start of another school day—it was a moment of gratitude, resilience, and hope.

After our previous Flag Ceremony was unexpectedly interrupted by the 7.8-magnitude earthquake on June 8, gathering once again as one school community carried a deeper meaning. Standing together, singing our national anthem, and offering prayers reminded us of God's faithfulness through every challenge we have faced.

As we officially begin this chapter of face-to-face learning, may we continue to move forward with courage, compassion, and a renewed commitment to learning and serving one another.

This July, Lagao Alliance School joins the nation in celebrating Nutrition Month, a reminder of the importance of promoting healthy lifestyles and developing habits that contribute to the well-being of individuals and communities.

May this observance inspire every learner to make informed choices, practice responsible stewardship in everyday life, and recognize the value of health as a foundation for learning, growth, and service.

Ngayong Nutrition Month, kaisa ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd) sa sama-samang pagtaguyod ng wastong nutrisyon at tamang pangangalaga sa kalikasan.

Sa temang "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan ating pangalagaan," binibigyang-halaga ng pagdiriwang ngayong taon ang ugnayan ng nutrisyon at pangangalaga sa ating kalikasan.

Bahagi ng hangaring ito, patuloy na pinauunlad ng DepEd ang mga programang tulad ng School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) at Gulayan sa Paaralan na sumusuporta sa pagbibigay ng tama at sapat na nutrisyon sa ating mga mag-aaral.
