The College of Education (COED) of Gensantos Foundation College (GFI) gathered its students for the College of Education Student Orientation Day, themed “COED Convergence: Where Connection Begins,” held at the GFI Recreational and Events Area, August 7.

The orientation provided students with information on the college's departments, academic and review programs, departmental examinations, and other matters concerning their academic journey.

The program opened with a welcome address, followed by the introduction of the COED faculty and staff.

Following the introductions, the orientation presented the different academic areas under COED, including the Bachelor of Arts in Literary and Cultural Studies (BALCS), Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English (BSEd-English), Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics (BSEd-Math), and Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) departments.

The discussions also covered the review program and departmental examinations, giving students a clearer understanding of the academic requirements and opportunities within the college.

Moreover, an open forum was conducted, allowing students to raise questions, clarify concerns and seek further information about their academic journey.

Meanwhile, the Educators' Society officers were formally introduced, while former officers were also recognized for their contributions, highlighting the role of student leadership and service within the COED community.

The orientation concluded with closing remarks, bringing students, faculty, and staff together as the college begins another academic year.

The College of Education (COED) Department of Gensantos Foundation College (GFI) holds its student orientation today, August 7, at the GFI Recreational and Events Area, welcoming both new and returning education students for Academic Year 2026–2027.

The orientation gathers students from the Bachelor of Arts in Literary and Cultural Studies (BALCS), Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English (BSEd-English), Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics (BSEd-Mathematics), and Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) to familiarize them with departmental policies, academic guidelines, student services, and upcoming activities as they prepare for the new academic year.
