CET Dean, Program Directors, and Faculty Complete ISO 21001:2025 EOMS Training

The College of Engineering and Technology (CET) Dean, Program Directors, and faculty members successfully completed the 3-Day ISO 21001:2025 Educational Organizations Management Systems (EOMS) Awareness and Internal Audit Training held at Sun City Suites, General Santos City, on August 12–14, 2026.

We would like to thank our speaker, Mr. Gilmore Rivera, Operations Director of SOCOTEC, for sharing his knowledge, expertise, and valuable insights throughout the training.

Special thanks to RMMC for giving us this opportunity. The training helped us better understand the requirements of ISO 21001:2025 and the importance of conducting effective internal audits. It was also a meaningful learning experience that will help us in our continuous efforts to improve our processes and provide better, learner-centered services.

The participation of the CET Dean, Program Directors, and faculty members reflects the College’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and excellence in education.

The activity was facilitated by 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙚 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝙉𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙤,𝙈𝙇𝙄𝙎, 𝙍𝙇, 𝙇𝙋𝙏, 𝘽𝙇𝙄𝙎 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧, together with the 𝙨𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 (7) 𝘽𝙇𝙄𝙎 𝙊𝙅𝙏 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙨 who are scheduled to begin their deployment today in their respective libraries.

The 𝙨𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙊𝙅𝙏 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙡𝙞𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠. Through their deployment, the trainees will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in BLIS and gain experience in the different areas of library operations and services.

Sir Jessie reminded the trainees to be responsible, respectful, and professional throughout their OJT and to always represent the BLIS Program and RMMC well.

The 𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 (𝑩𝑳𝑰𝑺) 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 successfully conducted its 𝑰𝒏-𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒖𝒔 𝑶𝒏-𝒕𝒉𝒆-𝑱𝒐𝒃 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 (𝑶𝑱𝑻) 𝑶𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 today at the RMMC College Library, 3rd Floor, in preparation for the practicum of its graduating students.

The orientation was facilitated by the 𝑩𝑳𝑰𝑺 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 𝑫𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓, 𝑺𝒊𝒓 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒆 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒏 𝑺. 𝑵𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒐, 𝑴𝑳𝑰𝑺, 𝑹𝑳, who provided a comprehensive discussion on the objectives of the practicum, library policies, workplace rules, professional ethics, duties and responsibilities, attendance requirements, and performance expectations. The session emphasized the importance of professionalism, accountability, integrity, and excellent customer service as future library and information professionals.

The activity was attended by the "𝑳𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒚 8" 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝑳𝑰𝑺 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔, who are set to begin their in-campus practicum. Through the orientation, the students gained a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities as student trainees while reinforcing the knowledge and skills they have acquired throughout their academic journey.

The BLIS Program remains committed to producing competent, ethical, and service-oriented information professionals by providing meaningful experiential learning opportunities that develop students into 𝒇𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔 ready to serve their communities with excellence.

Freshers Day 2026 at RMMC-IS Lagao

Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges – Integrated School (RMMC-IS) Lagao warmly welcomed its new college students during Freshers Day 2026, bringing together freshmen from the College of Engineering and Technology (CET), College of Teacher Education (CTE) and the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).

The event fostered camaraderie, school spirit, and a sense of belonging through engaging activities, inspiring messages, and interactive booths prepared by the different academic programs. The Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) showcased an engaging interactive booth, where freshmen explored the world of librarianship through fun activities, games, and informative exhibits, giving them a glimpse of the exciting opportunities within the profession.

Freshers Day 2026 marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey, encouraging students to embrace learning, leadership, and excellence as proud members of the RMMC community.
