Sa ilalim ng mas mahigpit na guidelines ng DepEd, may malinaw na proseso at kaukulang parusa para maprotektahan ang bawat mag-aaral.

Sa pamumuno ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos, patuloy nating pinapalakas ang ligtas at maayos na learning environment para sa lahat tungo sa isang mas ligtas na Bagong Pilipinas.

𝗝𝗗𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Jose Divinagracia, Sr. Elementary School successfully conducted its INSET 2026 – Term 1 on September 10–11, 2026, bringing together teachers in a two-day professional learning activity focused on improving teaching practices and strengthening learner support.

The sessions highlighted key areas such as classroom assessment and recognition, learner-centered pedagogies, curriculum and ARAL implementation, off-task behavior tracking, the Dynamic Learning Program–Learning Activity Sheet, and the ILAW lesson planning framework. These topics provided participants with practical strategies, updated guidance, and useful tools that can be applied in their daily classroom practice.

More than just attending the sessions, the participants actively engaged in discussions, reflections, and collaborative activities, making the INSET a meaningful opportunity to learn from one another and strengthen their shared commitment to quality education.

The activity reaffirmed JDSES’s belief that when teachers continue to learn and grow, learners are given better opportunities to succeed.

Jose Divinagracia Sr. Elementary School actively participated in the Simultaneous School Safety Drill in partnership with General Santos City Police Station 6. 👮‍♂️🏫

The activity highlights our commitment to strengthening school safety, preparedness, discipline, and emergency response among our learners and personnel.

Through these drills, we continue to equip our school community with the knowledge and skills needed to respond calmly, quickly, and appropriately during emergencies.

Jose Divinagracia Sr. Elementary School congratulates siblings 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗠. 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘀 (Grade IV–Cahate) and 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗠. The Gabaldon Heritage School Building of Jose Divinagracia Sr. Elementary School stands as a treasured symbol of education, history, and community heritage in Bula, General Santos City. Built in 1951, the structure was originally known as the Bula Elementary School and served as an important learning center for generations of children in the community.

Inspired by the traditional bahay-kubo and bahay-na-bato, the building features a distinctive wooden structure, wide windows, and architectural details characteristic of the Gabaldon school design. It witnessed the early years of education in Bula and became part of the community’s cultural identity.

Through the years, the school has produced generations of learners and educators who contributed to the development of the community. Its preservation and restoration reflect the collective commitment to protecting an important part of local history.

Today, the Gabaldon building continues to serve as a classroom and a living reminder of the school’s rich educational heritage. More than a century of memories may be preserved through its walls, making it a lasting symbol of excellence, resilience, and the enduring value of education at Jose Divinagracia Sr. Elementary School.

Strengthening Partnerships, Building Leaders: JDSES General Assembly and Induction 2026

Strengthening the partnership among the school, parents, learners, and community took center stage as Jose Divinagracia, Sr. Elementary School held its General Assembly cm Induction of Officers 2026 on August 20, 2026.

The activity was headed by School Principal Ma’am Josephine S. La Torre, with support from Assistant School Head Designate Sir Redan L. Elipongga. School Guidance Advocate Maricel U. Bergavera facilitated the orientation on school policies, while PCAPT Renato Paclibar Jr., Deputy Station Commander of Police Station 6, shared important reminders on school safety and security.

Another significant part of the gathering was the turnover of responsibilities from outgoing SPTA President Mrs. Anabel Dacelao to incoming SPTA President Mrs. Pamela Dejito. The induction of the SPTA, HPTA, SELG, Class, and Club Officers was officiated by Hon. Nicanora T. Vargas, Barangay Captain of Bula.

The activity highlighted the value of shared leadership, cooperation, and active participation in creating a safe, supportive, and learner-centered school community.
