The NDDU-IBED Espina faculty and staff participated in an Online INSET Session on Psychological First Aid (PFA) via Zoom, facilitated by Ms. Jasmine D. Ponciano, MAEd, RGC.
The seminar provided valuable insights and practical strategies for offering immediate emotional and psychological support to individuals experiencing distress, particularly during emergencies and challenging situations. As educators, this training equips us to better respond to the psychosocial needs of our learners, colleagues, and communities with empathy, care, and resilience.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Ponciano for sharing her expertise and inspiring us to become more compassionate and responsive educators.
Together, we continue to build a caring and resilient school community where every individual feels seen, heard, and supported.
