The Source of Goodness

When I die, delete all my photos. Give my clothes to the poor. Do duas for me and don’t try to remember me through my worldly deeds. If i was truthful to the deen, remember me through good deeds I did for the afterlife. Please forgive me if I ever hurt you, backbited 'bout you or even slandered 'bout you. Forgive me for Allah. 🖤🙂

‏قالَ الشيخُ ابنُ عُثيمين رحمهُ اللهُ : -

" والقَبْرُ ظُلْمَةٌ لا يَرَى الإنْسانُ شَمْساً ولا قَمَراً، فإذا كانَ الإنْسانُ مِنَ المُصَلِّين كانَ قَبْرُهُ نُوراً " .

🌿Sinabi ni Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymīn:

"Ang libingan (naglalaman) ng kadiliman na ang tao (sa loob nito) ay hindi niya makikita ang araw o ang buwan. Ngunit kung ang tao ay mula sa mga nagdarasal (gumagawa ng pagdarasal), ang kanyang libingan ay magiging isang liwanag."

Treat your wife the way you want your daughter to be treated💕

When she is born, she opens the dates to Paradise. When she is married, she has completed half her religion. When she is a mother, paradise lies under her feet.

باب قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ كُنْ فِي الدُّنْيَا كَأَنَّكَ غَرِيبٌ، أَوْ عَابِرُ سَبِيلٍ ‏"

Sahih al-Bukhari 6416

Narrated Mujahid:

`Abdullah bin `Umar said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) took hold of my shoulder and said, 'Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler." The sub-narrator added: Ibn `Umar used to say, "If you survive till the evening, do not expect to be alive in the morning, and if you survive till the morning, do not expect to be alive in the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and (take) from your life for your death."

Narrated Anas:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Allah! There is no life worth living except the life of the Hereafter, so (please) make righteous the Ansar and the Emigrants."

The prophet also said about memorizing the Quran: “It will be asked to the companion of the Dunia Read and elevate (through the levels of Jannah) and beautify your voice as you were used to doing when you were in Dunia! Memorizing the Quran will put you in a higher place in heaven.

Allah protects you from this world

When Allah loves you, He protects you by withholding something bad that can bring you further away from Allah. For example, wealth, fame, the opposite gender etc.

You might feel like you are working so hard towards something but somehow it is always out of your reach.

Try to reflect and see if that thing is good for your deen and brings you closer to Allah.

If it’s not, it may be a sign that Allah is trying to withhold it from you so that you can turn to Him instead.

Ibn Taymīyyāh رحمه الله said:

"The strength of the heart returns when one repents!"

How do you feel after reciting/listening to the Qur'an

Sh. Ibn al-‘Uthaymeen:

“If you see yourself increasing in Eemān whenever Qur'ān is recited then this is a sign of success.”
