The BA Communication Program of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges proudly announces the renewal of its Institutional Membership with the Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE) for 2026โ2027.
Founded in 1975, PACE is the oldest, largest, and one of the most dynamic professional organizations of communication, media, and journalism educators and practitioners in the Philippines. It serves as a platform for academic collaboration, faculty development, research, and the advancement of communication education nationwide.
Our renewed membership reflects BACOMM's continued commitment to academic excellence, industry relevance, and the professional growth of both our faculty and students. Through PACE, our community remains connected to a national network of communication educators, opening more opportunities for learning, collaboration, research, and innovation.

From a personal passion project to an institutional innovation.
Sir Kiko Abellera, Acting Program Director of the BA Communication (BACOMM) program, formally presented the Class Record Management System (CRMS) Version 1.0 to the College Deans, General Education Director, and Academic Heads.
The Class Record Management System (CRMS) is a web-based grading and class management tool designed for faculty members handling multiple courses each semester. It enables instructors to encode raw scores, compute transmuted grades, monitor attendance, and generate submission-ready reports, all within a single, accessible interface.
Originally developed by Sir Kiko in 2025 as a personal passion project to address the challenges of class record management within the BA Communication program, CRMS has since evolved into a solution that can benefit faculty across the institution.
The presentation also showcased other digital initiatives developed by Sir Kiko for the BA Communication program, including the BACOMM Alumni Portal (https://bacommalumni.pages.dev) and the BACOMM Internship Portal (https://bacomminternship.pages.dev). These projects reflect an ongoing commitment to leveraging technology to streamline academic processes, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and enhance the overall learning experience.
What started as a passion for solving everyday challenges continues to grow into innovative digital solutions that support teaching, learning, and academic administration, reflecting BACOMM's commitment to excellence through innovation.
