‎Our NSTP students once again proved their commitment to nation-building and environmental stewardship as they actively participated in the DevCom seminar entitled 𝐀𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧: 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, which was facilitated by the DevCom Department!

𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻: 𝗔𝗻 𝗡𝗕𝗦𝗣𝗜–𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗣 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The NSTP 1 students of New Brighton School of the Philippines took part in a Mangrove Planting and Coastal Clean-up Drive at Barangay Bula, General Santos City on November 15, 2025.

This initiative was spearheaded by the NSTP 1 students together with their moderators, Sir Ralph Jason Larida, LPT, and Sir Ron Vincent Pama, LPT. Through this activity, students learned the vital role of mangrove trees in protecting coastal communities—especially as the country remembers the onslaught of Typhoon Tino and Uwan, which highlighted the importance of strong, healthy mangrove ecosystems in mitigating disaster impacts.

𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | The NSTP Club successfully held an Information Literacy Seminar titled "InfoSeek: Unveiling Truth, Shaping Wisdom Through the Mindful Use of Information" on September 26, 2025, at the NBSPI Auditorium.

In his welcome remarks, Sir Ralph challenged the students to take an active role in the fight against fake news by becoming critical thinkers and responsible consumers of information. He emphasized the importance of discernment in the digital age, urging everyone to verify sources, question what they read, and stand firm in seeking the truth.

The seminar featured two esteemed guest speakers: Mr. Elrish Jay Felamin, a member of Rappler's , and Sir Rogelio Jenson Jr., adviser of Sirius Publication. Both speakers empowered students by cultivating their critical thinking skills and teaching them how to effectively distinguish between factual and misleading information.

The event served as a timely reminder of the power of information—and the responsibility that comes with it.
