Annika Sarah M. Erenio, the artist, is an award-winning Editorial Cartonist with her win in DSPC 2025 and a 4th-Place finish last RSPC 2025. Now, she is off to show her prowess anew in Editorial Cartooning in the upcoming DSPC.

Also, after she was declared champion last Division Science and Technology Fair 2025 -Poster Making Contest, this young artist is set to represent General Santos City at Regional Science and Technology Fair 2025.

The illustration radiates messages of protection, unity, compassion, and peace. With its theme: “OSAEC- CSAEM : Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng bata , Ipaglaban.” It uses vibrant colors and symbolic imagery to convey emotional and social values.

Umbrella of Protection
• The large red-and-white striped umbrella shelters a group of smiling individuals.
• Symbolizes safety, community support, and collective care—suggesting that under shared values or systems, people can thrive together.
Droplets of Challenges
• Four large water droplets above the umbrella contain silhouettes of people violence against children, online dating scam, bullying, and online sexual abuse and exploitation.
• Set against a rainbow and starry sky, they evoke hope, diversity, and universal connection.
Hands Cradling a Family
• Two large hands emerge from a heart shape, holding three smiling figures (two adults and a child).
• This symbolizes familial love, nurturing, and emotional security.
• The heart and hands together emphasize care, affection, and protection.
Symbols of Safety and Awareness
• Surrounding the central figures are icons like:
• A shield – representing defense and resilience.
• A prohibition sign – possibly indicating prevention of harm or negative influences.
• A ribbon – often used to raise awareness for causes like health, peace, or social justice.
Dove of Peace
