The evening came alive as the icon of Philippine Hip-hop, Gloc-9, together with GMA Kapuso Artists Apoy sa Dugo cast ๐„๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž ๐•๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ฎ๐ž๐ฏ๐š, sent ๐€๐ฌ๐ก๐ฅ๐ž๐ฒ ๐Ž๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐š and ๐ƒ๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ค ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐จ, showcased electrifying performances at RAKRAKAN sa RMMC, signifying the culmination of the three-day celebration of KALINGAWAN 2026 on March 13 at the RMMC-IS Lagao Campus.

After three days of grueling competition across different categories, RAKRAKAN sa RMMC solidified the KALINGAWAN 2026 experience, bringing unforgettable memories to every RMMCian.

Day 2 of Kalingawan 2026 at Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, Inc. carried forward the festivalโ€™s spirit of excellence and celebration. The morning program featured the Community ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ณ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ฅ, ๐’๐ฉ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐“๐ž๐š and ๐ƒ๐ž๐›๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, where students demonstrated sharp thinking, quick recall, and persuasive skill. These contests reflected the collegeโ€™s commitment to academic growth and the value of healthy competition.

The afternoon and evening turned warm and lively. A ๐’๐ฉ๐จ๐ค๐ž๐ง ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐๐จ๐ž๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ gave words that touched the crowd, then the ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐ค๐ข๐ญ to ๐‘ฒ๐’–๐’‰๐’‚ ๐‘ท๐’‚ ๐‘ป๐’? had everyone laughing at one funny scene after another; RMMCians and the judges cheered along. Audience members joined the interactive games, and the ๐๐ฎ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐ญ ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง filled the stage with harmony and bright energy.

The day concluded with ๐‹๐ข๐ง๐ ๐š๐ฐโ€‘๐‹๐ข๐ง๐ ๐š๐ฐ ๐ฌ๐š ๐†๐š๐›๐ข๐ž, where students, faculty, and guests gathered as one community. Applause and smiles filled the venue, reflecting pride in the institution and joy in the celebration. It was a fitting end to Day 2 of Kalingawan 2026, a day that brought together knowledge, creativity, and shared spirit.

The Parasol Parade Competition lit up the streets of Plaza General Santos City as the colleges of College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Business Education (CBE), College of Criminal Justice (CCJ), College of Engineering and Technology (CET), College of Allied Health and Sciences (COAHS), and the College of Teacher Education (CTE). Each contingent carried vibrant parasols paired with themed costumes and simple choreography, transforming the parade route into a colorful display of artistry and school spirit. The cheers of the crowd added to the festive atmosphere, celebrating the creativity and effort of the participants.
Beyond the spectacle, the parade became a symbol of unity and collaboration across the colleges. The blend of colors, movement, and enthusiasm reflected the shared pride of the RMMC community, making the competition not only a highlight of the day but also a joyful celebration of teamwork and campus camaraderie.

KALINGAWAN 2026 started its first day with energy and excitement as students began the celebration with an energetic Zumba session in the morning at the RMMC Main Campus Quadrangle on March 11, warming up and building the energy needed for the days of activities ahead.
One of the highlights of the opening day was the Parasol Parade Competition, where each college proudly showcased its creativity and preparation through colorful and vibrant displays of performances.
Throughout the afternoon, the campus atmosphere remained electric as students engaged in various interactive challenges designed to foster camaraderie, strategic teamwork, and healthy collegiate rivalry.

To end the day on a high note, everyone gathered for the Chill Night Party with DJ Rave, filling the night with music, energy, and unforgettable memories. From the morning Zumba beat to the night full of heat, KALINGAWAN 2026 made the first day complete.

The Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges Library officially opened the 2nd Book Fair earlier today, March 11, at the RMMC Main Grounds. Faculty members from different schools visited the RMMC Library to explore a wide selection of books and learning resources, celebrating the joy of reading and the value of knowledge within the campus community. This event is also part of the celebration of the opening of Kalingawan 2026.

The opening program also featured the presentation of book exhibitors, including Mindshapers Co., Inc., Page One Trading (POT), Super Pages Trading, Wisemanโ€™s Books Trading Inc., LIBER, Shangshangtan Trading, Megatext Philippines Inc., CD Books International Inc., Belview Co., Inc., C&E Adaptive Learning Solutions, Nikephoros, EESM Bookstore, Golden Books Service Inc., LibTech Source Philippines Inc., Linar International Book Resources Inc., and lastly, Mind Tools Inc. The program also included the awarding of certificates and the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Special thanks to all faculty members, especially Dr. Kristoffer Franz Mari R. Millando. The event marks another exciting opportunity for RMMC faculty members and other visitors to discover new titles, support literacy, and engage in a vibrant academic atmosphere. ๐Ÿ“šโœจ
