Upper Tambler E/S II Kicks Off Month-Long Teachers’ Month Celebration 👩‍🏫

Upper Tambler Elementary School II officially kicked off its month-long celebration of National Teachers’ Month on September 16, 2026, honoring the dedication, commitment, and invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping the lives of learners.

The celebration was spearheaded by the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) officers of the school during the regular flag ceremony.

Learners and teachers gathered together as the school marked the beginning of a month-long tribute to the teachers who continuously guide, inspire, and support learners in their journey toward achieving their dreams. 🩷✨

✨15 Student Writers Earn Recognition in
Inter-District Training-Workshop✨

Young journalists from Upper Tambler Elementary School II (UTES II) brought pride to the school after earning recognition during the 2026 Inter-District Training-Workshop on Campus Jounalism held on September 9, 2026, at Fatima National High School.

The student writers participated in different writing categories and gave their best throughout the workshop. Their awards were the result of their effort, practice, and the guidance of their coaches.

UTES II Teacher Secures Third Place in 2026 Gawad Heneral🏆

Upper Tambler Elementary School II (UTES II) celebrates the achievement of Merlyn M. Adlawan, EdD, Teacher III, who secured third place in the Outstanding Elementary School Teacher (Teacher I–III) category of the 2026 Gawad Heneral: General Santos City Division Search for Outstanding Employees.

Adlawan’s recognition highlights her dedication and commitment to providing quality education and meaningful learning experiences to her pupils.

Her accomplishment serves as an inspiration to her fellow teachers and learners, reminding the school community of the value of perseverance, commitment, and excellence in the teaching profession.

UTES II learner bags gold in Regional Taekwondo Championship 🥋🏆🥇

Upper Tambler Elementary School II (UTES II) proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of Alonzo Nate Cantaros, who clinched the Gold Medal(Individual Category in Poomsae) at the 2026 MVPSF R12 Inter-School Taekwondo Championships.

The competition was held at the Tacurong City Cultural and Sports Center on August 29, 2026, bringing together young taekwondo athletes from different schools across the region.

Cantaros displayed remarkable skill, discipline, and determination as he competed against fellow young athletes, earning the top spot in his category and bringing honor to UTES II.

✨BEED Pre-Service Teachers Ready to Begin Their Experiential Learning Journey✨

Upper Tambler Elementary School II welcomed 38 pre-service teachers from the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) Department, College of Education, Mindanao State University–General Santos City during the Experiential Learning Course (ELC) Orientation Program held on August 25, 2026.

The program began with the preliminaries, followed by the welcome address of Jennifer G. Quimiging, Designated Guidance Advocate, who encouraged the pre-service teachers as they begin their experiential learning journey. This was followed by the opening message of Michael B. Cahapay, PhD, ELC Adviser, who formally turned over the 38 pre-service teachers to their 38 resource teachers.

The pre-service teachers were then warmly welcomed and accepted by Ma. Arlyn P. Alboroto, Principal IV, who also discussed the school's policies, guidelines, and expectations. She emphasized the importance of responsibility, professionalism, respect, and proper conduct as the pre-service teachers begin their field experience.

During the orientation proper, Sir Cahapay discussed the ELC 101 and ELC 102 subjects, including the responsibilities and requirements of the pre-service teachers. He also explained the grading components for both pre-service teachers and resource teachers, as well as the key dates and activities to guide everyone throughout the ELC program.

The pre-service teachers will actively participate in classroom and school activities, observe and assist their resource teachers, and apply what they have learned from their coursework to actual teaching situations.

Meanwhile, the resource teachers will serve as mentors and guides by providing supervision, feedback, and practical advice as the pre-service teachers gain experience in the classroom.

This orientation marks the start of an important learning experience for the 38 BEED pre-service teachers as they take their first steps toward putting their knowledge and skills into practice.

The City Government of General Santos announces the suspension of work in all government offices within the city on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, in observance of the 1448 Hijrah Maulidin Nabi, or the Birthday of Prophet Muhammad, S.A.W.

However, employees and job order workers in offices delivering frontline, basic, health, emergency, disaster preparedness and response, peace and order, and other vital services are required to report for work according to the schedules assigned by their respective department heads.

Private companies and establishments are likewise encouraged to observe the work suspension, subject to the discretion and policies of their respective management or office heads.
